Assuming your PC isn't 5 years old, it'll play them fine. Only thing I can't recall is if they ditched the always-online cloud-saves BS from AC2 as its DRM.

Probably picking up brotherhood. Only five bucks so. Revelations was the crappy one, right?
Was Revelations bad? Should I just read a synopsis and move onto AC3?
Relevations was 'ok'. Standard AC affair, but as far as the main Desmond plot goes it was entirely fluff. Can just youtube the Ezio/Altair related story bits if need be.
Multiplayer is good game of lethal tag, but AC3 coming out soon will mean that'll be over soon. No clue how the playerbase for that is on PC also.
Revelations seemed like a giant ass DLC as far as the storyline goes, but it does add some nice things as far as gameplay and certain side-storytelling goes. I thought I was going to feel the same about Brotherhood but by the end of that it really is its own full game and is a pretty important part of the main storyline. AC2 is probably still the best all-around one so far, AC1 is pretty weak technically at this point, although it does setup the awesome main storyline so I really wouldn't skip that. tbh I wouldn't skip any of them, but that's my ranking![]()

Not really much there as far as Steam activatables go, but Cryostasis for a buck isn't bad.

Random question: can your redeem Steam codes in the browser or via the Steam app? A few companies are doing Halloween DLC codes today. I'm stuck at work trying to redeem them, but I can't find a way.
Only through the client as far as I'm aware.
Doh, okay.![]()
Lots of good shit on sale today if you've managed to miss it the first hundred times.

The codes redeem on Steam.
Did anyone get free Dota 2 gifts today?

Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition 33% off ($26.79) until Monday
Definitely. I think it was $20 on Amazon recently.
GOG.com has the entire Interplay catalog at 50% off.
Yes, this happens a lot, but this time is really the last time you'll see Interplay games at this price, since Interplay is doubling the base price of all their titles next weekend.
Every silver lining has a cloud, though, and the reason that we’re putting the games on sale again is because we’re raising the prices on some of the Interplay games on the 16th of November as part of our new deal with Interplay. As such, games such as Fallout, MDK, Redneck Rampage and others may never be as cheap on GOG.com as they will be this next week. If you’ve been hesitating to pull the trigger on any classic Interplay games, now’s your last chance to buy and save big!
2.99 for freespace and freespace 2... tempting. wonder if I have a working joystick
hmm, this is a pretty good deal, heh.
