So what's the right way to do this again? Only jump on daily deals and flash deals until the last day? I'm looking at Portal 2 for $5, Audiosurf for $2.50, Amnesia for $5, and To The Moon for $3.40. Does shit actually get cheaper than this?

Just a heads up, GOG.com is doing a pick 5 pay $10 promotion that includes some titles that end up being cheaper than they would be on steam, plus they're DRM-free.

Botanicula, To The Moon, Machinarium, Defcon, Symphony, To The Moon, etc can all be had for $2 each if you're willing to spend $10 total and can decide on five.

Thanks, yeah I'd seen that the other day, but wasn't familiar with enough of the names to pick and just ended up buying them from Steam last night.

I was thinking about Max Payne 3. I watched the single player walkthrough on youtube when it came out, and I hear the multi player is kind of dead. So I think I'm going to pass.

Been waiting for Deadlight to drop below -25% myself. $11 just seems a little high for what I've heard about it.
I did grab cave story+ for $3 or so though, and stayed up way too late starting a hard mode run.

-50% @ 7.49 right now! for another hour and a half

i'm lucky in that almost everything on a flash or daily sale so far this year i already have. i held off on sleeping dogs & max payne 3 just because the winter sale is only a month away, but i'll probably give in for those then. i think i've only spent about $25 so far on saints row 3 (really fun so far) & a lot of -75% indie games & DLC.

hard to not watch the youtube clip of farming simulator and jumping on that for when drunk.

Worth it to pick up DE:HR for $5, or wait until the collection goes on sale (I'd like to also pick up DE1&2 as well as the DLC).

I don't know if I ever saw the collection go on sale, but 5 bucks for the base game isn't bad. I think the dlc was on sale as well when I bought my copy, it was only a few bucks (back in 2011). If in total de:hr and dlc is over 10 bucks don't buy it, I think I got everything cept the original 2 games for 7.50?
