Hit or miss game. It's very flawed... horrible AI and gets very slow in long games, but still fun, imo, especially with mods. G&K is absolutely required.

guess ill spring for GotY and G+K then
Torchlight 2 for $10 is tempting. I already had to say no to Diablo 3 for $40 earlier today. Is it a much more varied game this time around? I got bored of Torchligh 1 mid-way due to repetitive scenery (was a tad too claustrophobic), and the difficulty being too easy even on hard.
Praying.. for Walking dead to go on sale. PLEASE GABEN

So I went and bought DAO. I normally play these types of games on console but for the price you can't beat it. Are there any mods that are must have for the game? (Also how a quick how to mod guide lol)
I didn't use any, the isometric view alone gives DA:O a huge upper hand over consoles. The game looks fantastic as is IMO.
Good to know, thanks.
Mage is easily the most OP class in the game since they get an ability later that lets them wear any type of equipment. Though they have a shitty/slow start in the Mage's Tower. I love the Human noble thief path the most, the story was pretty messed up from the get go.
I haven't even considered what path to take x.x; Keep pausing the d/l to cram in dota games.
Protip: Mana Clash is the most OP ability in the game
I'm currently reading some R.A. Salvatore Drizzt Do'Urden books, so I had to make my character a rogue elf.
And there is one mod I would get.
The Skip the Fade mod.
Alternately, keep your eyes peeled for it to pop up again during the winter/year end sale.
You should pop in and check Steam every time a flash deal timer changes over. Always go to the source, and often, don't wait for us to mention stuff here.
I keep a bookmark folder with Steam, GOG, GMG, and Amazon goldbox/lightning deals full list, and open them all at once every day.
(Last year, Amazon had some deals not even show until later in the day, not like "what's in the box?", but like, if you didn't check in after 3:30, you never would have known there'd be more deals)
Also: idk why everyone hates the fade, I had no trouble with it.
Origin (yea, I know....fuck that service)
Has the walking dead for $12.50

Id personally wait for steam to do it again, but if you already have origin.....
If you didn't already purchase this, Amazon has the dual pack on sale for $4.99

Even though its not listed on the main page, The Witcher 1 is half price atm for £3.50 (bout $5). Only noticed it since i brough the 2nd one but some of the story is lost on me so thought i best play the first one in hopes i have a better clue as to what the hell is going on lol
on steam The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut is only $2.49 75% off
