Fuck that Civ4 pack is awesome, but I really can't justify any more money on games now.

Hmm, Civ4 pack is tempting, but I'd actually prefer owning a physical copy for it.

Did the game ever use serial keys or DRM or something? It seems more like something I wouldn't want tied to Steam so I can use it offline on the go with my laptop.
(takes Steam a year to prompt the offline-mode indicator for me for some reason)

I know there's a complete pack in retail, perhaps I'll go sniff it out and see the price difference..
[EDIT] $44, nvm, will wait for its price to drop to something more budget-level. >.>

You can play steam games offline, you just have to set it up when you're connected.

Ugh Street Fighter 4 for $10 is really tempting, but with the number of other games I've already picked up from this sale, plus all the ones coming out soon, I don't think I'd ever actually get around to playing it. Must... resist...

10 bucks is a steal but if you have another Games for Windows Live game ( Resident evil 5, Halo2 etc) download and install a iso of SF4 and use one of those keys. There are not enough people playing it on PC, you find more people on player matches than any other mode.

unless something really pops up that I wished I had, I am going to sit back and play the 15 games I bought in the last month for the next year.

This game is fun for $1.39

    Foreign Legion: Buckets of Blood

Foreign Legion: Buckets of Blood is a cartoon-style third-person shooter. You take the role of a last-standing hard-boiled Legionnaire taking on an entire rebel army.

A small campaign with various objectives, such as defending civilians, escorting a tourist bus and a mass-chicken-murder map. The game includes a ranking system that allows you to unlock new outfits, accessories and of course new weapons.

18 Various Steam achievements: Try to win Chicken Slaughter (killing all the chickens) and Damage Control (sparing all the civilians) in the same game!
    * Fill your buckets with blood by causing suicide bombers to explode prematurely or shoot gory head shots!
    * A dynamically evolving soundtrack that reacts to your actions!
    * A complete arsenal of weapons, including personal air-raid support to slaughter attacking hordes at once.
    * A broad range of difficulty with action-packed fun for both casual and veteran players!

Shattered Horizon is kinda fun. Dunno if I'll get my $5 worth by my entirely too high standards considering the low amount of content, but it still looks awesome.

Thou shalt not buy any game until January 2nd unless it is one of the 24 hour sale games.

Had you followed this rule you would have Torchlight for $5. This rule is necessary for maximizing financial gains because games in the holiday sale can have deeper discounts during 24 hour sales. We know the holiday sale and 24 hours sales will end on January 3rd. So any sales you see now will remain in effect until Jan 3rd, with a chance to go lower in a 24 hours sale. Do all your shopping from 24 hours sales or on Jan. 2nd to be safe.
    words to live by.

that being said Hopefully they bring down the price of The forced Unleashed D:
