Thanks, bought it now.
Thanks, bought it now.
Bought System Shock 2. No idea if I'll like it or even play it, but I bought it!
I do like all 3 Bioshock games (yes, even two really wasn't bad), so I just naturally assumed I'd like this.

I- I was doing so good... I had only bought scribblenauts the first day and universal sandbox yesterday, but then, then I bought System Shock 2, The Witcher 2, Fallout New vegas, and Dead Light just now.
Been too busy with work to pay attention to the sale, but just grabbed Deadlight myself, might pick up Doom3:BFG...
I was going to get Deadlight, but I think I'll get gunpoint instead, vote for it!
I am waiting on Deus Ex to pop. And still wisihing Crysis 3 was on steam.
How do the cards work? Are they just reg codes that you can save and trade if you don't use them?
For that matter, why should I care about steam cards?
because you can sell them for money in your steam wallet
.10-.20 cents each, but better then nothing!
if you collect a game's entire set I think you get a badge that you can trade in for emotes to use in steam chat.
To quote a thread from reddit:

Basically, collecting each card for a game will allow you to craft a badge, earning you experience which can increase your Steam level. Your steam level allows you to customize your profile, adding backgrounds, adding "showcases" which make it easier to show off what things you've accomplished (like achievements). It also increases the max size of your friends list. EDIT: I was told below that crafting badges will also reward you with steam coupons when the summer sale isn't active.
Basically, if you're super into Steam and you like using the social aspects of it, your steam level gives you more control in that area. If you don't care about your profile or your friends list, the cards are just free money (you can sell them on the marketplace).
Couldn't resist Fallout New Vegas Ultimate for $5. I'm so broke right now but that's a deal.
Kerbal, Tomb Raider, TW: Shogun II...

Rented Portal 2 on xbawks and beat it with gf shortly after, would it be worth buying it on PC(we'd both have it on PC then for more coop/test our relationship)? Kinda want to but part of me is saying I probably won't play it.
