It is awful, I wouldn't even waste time pirating it.

Magicka is hilarious, but yes, other people are really what make that game as you feebly attempt not to kill each other and be productive. The controls also seem a little divisive among people I know, so you may want to give the demo a whirl before you pick it up to make sure you can dig them.
Also Bastion was controller only for me; kb/m was rage inducing.
I thought the point of magicka MP was to kill each other. who knew.
counter strike is supposed to be 14 cents but its showing for 5 bucks on its page![]()
oh nvm they changed it. jerks
for ten bucks, theres really no reason not to have Borderlands 2 now. Fantastic game.
Defense Grid and DLC's are on sale right now for anyone who didn't get it free on Xbox. I don't see it listed in the summer sales, found it digging through all games under 5. If you like tower defense games and don't have this grab it for sure.
dem cards...
how much you making lol?
Let's see...
spent 21.33, have 8.30 in wallet, so just shy of $30 for leaving games minimized all day. I'm out of drops though... boo.
damn son. that's ballin. i'm too lazy for all that, props though
you don't actually have to play the games to get the drops? didn't realize that, lol
Personal anecdote, but there were a few games I left idle, and I swear those games had a higher incidence of dropping dupes. (Like, 3 Dawn from PA:OtRSPoD4)
Is there any way to stop steam from pausing the game when it's not the active window? Makes it suck to multitask
you can have the game paused. you can have the game sitting on the title screen. It'll still drop cards.
and as for dupes, I've gotten more dupes when idling, yeah, but I also idled more games than not and have gotten dupes even when I didn't idle. I believe it's all just random.
I've made $8 so far, but I'm also out of cards now. Though I have a pretty small steam library.
Prices of cards have continuously dropped in price. Wonder if I should have hung on to the cards until after the steam sale was over in hopes of the inventory of cards dwindling and thus increasing price. Or it could be the exact opposite and demand will dwindle just as fast and be even more worthless.
bout to cop that dead light
The SUMMER cards, are high volume at the moment, with a relatively deep reserve, but the supply will be cut off soon.
The normal cards will probably see some cycles with sales, but it's too early to tell. The main thing to note is the price of the game, and the size of the set (or more particularly, the badge to game ratio).
(A 5 card set game gives you three cards, getting two more lets you make a badge, which spawns a 3 card booster pack out there somewhere. Every two copies of a game leaves 4 extra cards on the market. Just one shy of another set.
Brutal Legend on the other hand, has 15 cards. Two games still make a set, but the leftover four is less than a third of another badge, meaning much fewer badges to go around. You can't see a ratio less than half because two games always make a set and leave a pack behind, but everything besides 5 card sets generates less badges than there are games. So not everyone can be level 1 for a badge, let alone level 5.)
One of the main things that needs working on is the price of XP (and from there the price of a game to sets, but that leads to territory for the coal farmers).
For people who want levels, and the booster odds that come with them, they'll be looking at the cheapest full sets to turn in for badges. Qalpal is probably the one to talk to about that, motherfucker is 30 already. As far as I know, there isn't a site dedicated to the market yet like for TF2 items.
I've had Super meat boy, FTL, and Terraria badges for 5 days now. Bastion, scribblenauts, and Mark of the Ninja for 2 and the only booster pack I've gotten was for Mark of the Ninja. And I got that just 1 hour after i crafted that badge. So I don't have a clue how that's supposed to work.
Not that I really care anymore. I've dried up all my own game's cards dropped, so I'll quickly forget about the cards until I buy another game that has cards. Then I'll just sell those off as well.
