Do you get booster packs for just idling too?
Do you get booster packs for just idling too?
You don't even need to keep the game installed for booster packs. Just log in to Steam at least once a week.
Just to throw it out there, I think Skyrim will be the next daily deal. We'll find out in about 20 minutes.
Finally, Civ 5 -75%. Almost bought BNW yesterday but luckily remembered, that I pirated the base game. Is the gold edition worth it or should I just stick with basic + BNW?
I've been holding off on trying Fable III cuz I've heard mixed reviews, but for 5 bucks I think I gotta pull the trigger.
Got my hopes up thinking I could get bnw at a discount...
The Steam Summer Sale Conspiracy
http://www.polygon.com/2013/7/19/453...ale-conspiracyWhat if everything you knew about the 2013 Steam Summer Sale was a lie?
Okay, that's a little extreme. Valve's annual fire sale is still going strong, offering deep discounts on much of the digital storefront's content. But an astute Redditor with a keen eye who goes by "rawberry1110" discovered that Valve might have hidden a message about a certain unreleased sequel in the Summer Sale-specific cards.
Check out the image below for a deep dive into what could be the grandest conspiracy of 2013. You'll find a mix of hidden objects, numerology and just plain creative thinking — all of which points to a July 22 announcement of ... something.
Yo if y'all haven't played Bully, get it.
It's the follow up to San Andreas that GTA IV was not.
i picked it up cuz i never played it, pretty excited
any thoughts on van helsing? had never heard of it but looks interesting
The world will feel 'smaller' than every GTA game ever made, but then you realize it's beneficial both to the narrative and the theming of the gameplay. You're supposed to feel like a kid trying to win against otherwise extremely petty tyrants. The environment is small and sometimes claustrophobic but it is also used extremely well. Before long you feel like John McClane crawling around airducts because the assholes outside can't see you're actually trying to do the right thing.
If you ever find yourself 'missing' the expansive environments of San Andreas or IV try to understand that those games put in a lot of stupid, unfun bullshit (dating girls in san andreas, swimming missions, answering your fuckin phone every 30 minutes in IV) to pad out the expansiveness. Those games aimed for a lot more and didn't quite pull it off. Bully trims the fat, refines the experience and reaches higher narrative and gameplay heights.
Also, dat fuckin music.
As far as I know this is a per-application setting. The game, not steam, has to allow a 'windowed' mode that still functions like fullscreen to not pause gameplay while another window has focus. Some games do not implement this very well or at all. I don't think there is a global steam override for that.
Where the fuck are the flash sales for fallout collection and ys games? That's like all I wanted from this sale.
