LA Noire Complete a great buy for $6, or just average?

[Salodin]

I have it now from a sale 2 years ago, can never bring myself to play it straight. It came off as gta style sandbox, but with out all the things that made it fun (since you're a cop and all). It's definitely different, and the detective stuff is well done, but personally I just get way bored with it.

[Gryffes]

Awful. Awful game. Boring as fuck.

I mean they literally canned the studio the second it was done, should tell you something.

[Kalmado]

Well then, I can wait till it hits $2!

[Correction]

LA Noire isn't that bad if you think of it as a point and click adventure game with awful driving controls instead of a sandbox/action game. The ending is crap but the detective bits are top notch. The PC version suffers from muddy textures and lousy resolution which to my knowledge haven't been fixed by the modding community.

LA Noire is a pretty good interactive movie and a terrible videogame. Seriously. If you fuck up the actual gaming parts 3-4 times the game actually asks you "Yo, you wanna just skip this part?"

Sonic kart racer is one of the best kart racers ever made btw.

Just wanted to say ilu, this game is so amazingly awesome! And rather challenging as well on hard.

Also, the After Burner stage has a "FUCK YEAH, AMERICA!" feeling lol.

The current Humble Bundle is extremely solid, get in now before the BTA goes above $5. Games almost certain to be added as bonuses next week: Sacred Citadel, Risen and Metro 2033.

Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing for $7.49 Weekend Deal and Shadow Warrior Classic Redux (prettier looking) Daily Deal for $3.40.

[GoggleHead]

I eyed Van Helsing during the summer sale. Has anyone played it, is it worth throwing a few dollars at?

Metacritic has it at 72. If you like Diablo, Torchlight, or Dungeon Siege games, I can't fathom not liking this.

[TacoTaru]

Spelunky out now. 10% off for the time being :D

[Rhinox]

But Anita said the game is misogynist.

I have two older games that I got as rewards from winter/summer sale last year that I want to trade out. Are we allowed to do Steam trades here or is that meant for the BST forum?

Pay more than the average to receive:

I have most of these games but putting a dollar out because I seem to have Dead Space 2 but not 1 or 3, otherwise another awesome bundle if you don't have most of them.
