No, actually the issue started with me saying I was looking to buy DmC and the point was that even mediocre games are worth some small amount of money to play. You jumped in with your AAA title hurr durr. So I don't think so.
New verison of Shadow Warrior is 10 bucks. Pretty damn fun. Grab it.
T2 is pretty great but you should honestly just play Path of Exile if you want an ARPG fix. Completely free and is easily 100x better than... well, any other ARPG out there.
PoE is fun as fuck. Holy shit so glad I stumbled on that game.
I have both and Kia is right, PoE is streets ahead. Just the damn passive point system alone is awesome.
Eh, can't really compare the two given the release date disparity. I think PoE is better in every single way but it's hardly a fair comparison, PoE pretty much took everything good about the genre (everything D1/2 innovated) as a whole and ran with it. The completely insane level of customization and build diversity gives it far more replayability and it gets the benefit of constant updates (new skills/uniques primarily) which D2 didn't really have.
... but.. you just said it was 100x times better lol.
I don't mean it's literally not possible to compare the two, just that it's not at all fair to. If D2 was released nowadays side-by-side with PoE it would hardly even be worth a look. I guess I'm just trying to be diplomatic since people still have such a massive nostalgia boner for D2. PoE is a much better game and I'd rather kill myself than deal with shit like the fucking potion belt in D2 ever again, fuck Blizzard.
Apologies thought we were talking T2 and not D2... I had missed a post.. Yeah that makes more sense.
For those of you that are really enjoying PoE, how much time are you guys spending on it in general? I found the system complex and not really friendly for 30-60 minutes a day of playtime. It's not something beyond comprehension and such, but just takes a lot of time to really get into it when I gave it a try.
Go onto pathofpoe.com pick a build and just do that for your first time through the game. I'll start working on making a customized build once I have a better understanding of how the skills and passives work together (probably when the next leagues start cause vanilla is boring), which you'll get by playing the game. I play for a couple hours max a day, mostly in 30-60 min bursts a couple of times per day.
One thing you have to wrap your head around is that you are going to be making multiple characters.
Super Hexagon.
This game... this fucking game...
It's a year old, but I'm just playing it for the first time. Amazing. And only 59 cents.
Get Deadly Premonition.
Do it. Now.
It is absolutely fantastic.
