+1 I just recently started playing and it is hard as shit to turn the game off and go to bed... Hooked up a pc to the living room tv and played split screen with my brother last weekend, it works amazingly well, and with controllers too.

Not sure how much is actually different as I only got 2-3 hours into the original version, but at the very least it's fully voice acted now.

You get the upgrade for free if you had the original game. Should be in your steam library automatically, if that's what you owned it on. Dunno how it works with GOG.

Pacing is unchanged. It's still a very slow game. Which isn't entirely correct since it sort of tells you what to do but sort of lets you explore. It took me 25 hours to get level 10 and leave the first area.

Winter steam sale has commenced. Ends Jan 4th. Pretty much the same as the Thanksgiving/Black Friday sale. No dailies or flashes either. Prepare wallets and Christmas cash per usual.

I think they stopped doing those because they often had cheaper prices than the dailies. And now you can refund games easily so it would be a hassle. So same sales all the way throughout.
