Depending on how far you are, I wouldn't get too excited. That game was pretty much the definition of good idea gone terribly wrong. I thought it started out strong and got very mediocre at best by the end of it.

If you've never played it. It's a good deal.

If you've played it, you've probably already beaten it.. because a playthrough only takes a few hours.

Killing Floor worth bothering with? $5 during the sale, and tempted to get it to play on my Mac.

I use to play that game every day but waiting for the new update. There is tons of custom content for that game.

You can always find a game.

KF uses a perk system (example sharpshooter requires head shots to advance to a higher perk lvl for that job) every job has there own weapons they specialize in.

Each job has a role and all are useful and have there own advantage.

I got 240+ hours logged on that game I haven't even had it for that long.

Great game would recommend it to anyone who loves FPS or a co-op game.

My main intent was to play it on my Mac, but I may wait on that as some of the mods are not fully compatible yet, such as Defence Alliance 2, although that should be remedied within the upcoming month according to one of the devs.
(nice to see a team that enjoys making their product the best it can possibly be and keeping up on their forums)

Is character progression stored locally or on a master server btw? I just don't want to log onto a server and see people completely maxed out.

There are servers with 20+ people with maxed stats(for that server only) you can play on. Your lvls are the same on every servers but those few.

I know nothing that is going on with the mac side of things what they have and don't have but, Defence Alliance mod was created by someone else besides Tripwire they just published it (I think they won a mod contest). Defence Alliance sucks. Don't hold your breath for that pile.

Your data (perk progression/stats/achievements) are all saved to the steam cloud (master server).

Picked up ghostbusters for $4, audiosurf and beathazard for $5 ea. Lastnight. I see now audio surf is $2.5 today... Lots of games on sale, seems like it might be best ignoring any sales not under a 24 hr timer for the next couple of weeks.

I am thinking of getting Heroes of Might and Magic 5 Pack, as well as the King's Bounty games. I have played 5 before but lost a disc and played one of the King's Bounty games, love these types of games... wonder if there are any more hidden in there!
