left4dead2 was a good 25g or so as well, seems that's the price of getting all patches and not using DVD.

It's a bad port. Developers were fucking retarded and packed duplicates of all the pre-rendered videos in the game, one for each supported language, rather than supporting multiple audio-tracks and just syncing it up with the video. You basically get 5gb of game, 25gb of bik files from what I understood.



Btw, EVE for $2, I'm assuming the product key will initiate the 30-day trial? I wouldn't mind owning it now incase I want to play it down the road when I get bored of FFXI.

tf2 has been $10 from amazon forever, $20 on steam forever... GTA4 is tempting, but 99% of ppl who would get it have it on console already... I is abundantly clear that steam is saving good deals for weekends.

After blowing $100 on steam this week, I refuse to spend another cent until I see borderlands with all dlc for $20 or less><

From what I've read, don't get suckered in. All I've heard is that it's a terrible port to the PC, that game has been on sale A LOT for a good reason.

My friend has it on a fairly average rig, and it ran like shit for him when anything involving the physics engine was in play, and he kept bitching and bitching and bitching about the vehicle controls being impossible to control with the keyboard.

We both own it on the PS3 and had no problems with it there so we assumed it was a crappy port.
(he got the PC copy as a freebie on Steam when he pre-ordered another THQ game, he just wanted to play the included content that was otherwise DLC on the PS3 release)


Anyways, I picked up Red Orchestra, will download that next month, hopefully there'll be a lot of players online with that sale.

I got it in the thq pack. If your pc can takeit, it's a great game on pc. I had on ps3 as well, i much prefer the pc version.
