Buy game from Steam, have Steam at least initiate install process (it may overwrite your existing registry keys for FFXI, so back those up prior), and once you can right-click the game in Steam, select Serial key, copy it.

From there, load up POL, go into your account, register extra services, plug the key in for any of the 3 add-ons and the rest should unlock.

the mini keys are pretty much worthless because no one is gonna want to do them with you and they all require full pts with specific jobs, the same reason ffxi was fail to the gen pop.

I still see people shouting the odd time for the final missions, and the rarer time for the mid-battle. Took me a month and a half of casually looking out for WG shouts to get them all done last time Steam had a sale on FFXI.

Just want SE to get Abyssea over with so I can get all three cheap. I don't care how awesome people said it was, SE made the mistake of releasing it near Steam summer sale, and paying $10 for 5 full games took priority than a measly MMO DLC.

FFXI is easy to play now ~_~ FoV makes low lvling way easy. You wont really need kaz keys anyways >.> zone is dead as hell. Few lvl there anymore and just lvl 25~30 solo or in lower lvl pts.

I actually picked it up during the summer sale, I plan to drop another $2 for some addons now.

Edit: add ons not really worth it. All the guns have no ammo drops in the game, have to buy them again for a reload and the vehicles aren't necessary at all.
