Oblivion mods really help make the game better. There is a mod that removes the terrible level up system of this and makes it into a typical rpg, xp gain from killing shit.

This mod completely changes the default leveling system to one similar to the classic XP systems found in games such as Baldur's Gate and World of Warcraft. For example, you now gain XP for completing quests or feeding on someone as a vampire. Explore new areas, search for Artifacts or steal items to gain XP! And best of all, every setting is fully customizable through a handy .ini file!

It's an alright time killer for $2, don't expect anything amazing.

The game feels a little lacking on presentation and content (eg. barebones menu, no keyboard remapping {even for gamepad}, no server favs, etc), but holy fuck it's fast paced. Jist of the gameplay is basically Mario Galaxy-like physics and you're a robot ninja dashing all around the place while looking for targets to lock-on with your dash attack and one-hit slaughter.

Game was a little laggy on the two servers I tried, so I just hosted one on the LAN for I and my sis to play on and it's been enjoyable. I love it when I get the triple-jump upgrade and then perform a strong dash combined with a jump. I just keep looping around the current platform I'm on until I see a target nearby and hit the lock-on dash to go for the kill. It can be hard to gauge at times whether or not your dash/jump was strong enough to get out of the current piece of land's gravitational pull and getting sucked into the area of choice's gravity instead.

More kills you score, the larger a target you become, until you commit harikari, blow up, and hopefully take out others with it to cash in your current score.


Steam release of the game really needs to add in an invite-to-server option though. As it stands the game will be part of my ever-growing impulse-buy list that I'll just play whenever I get bored the day, unless the dev keeps adding more content and fleshing the game out some more.

Hit alt-enter to enter fullscreen and try again. Seems to be a known bug that's yet to get fixed.

Game is a bit unpolished all around. For instance, I can't even play online now, game just immediately crashes after it tries to fetch a list from the server. One of the dev's says there's a patch coming out within the next 24hrs, so I'm hopeful it'll be a lot more stable after that.

Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition is $7.50 atm.

Seems like a good deal and is tempting me. Anyone played the PC version of this game? I have doubts (control wise) of playing a game that was made for the consoles, but this game has been on my 'to play' list for a while.
