If you can't buy the game in your region, are you sure you'll be able to accept it as a gift? I'd expect steam would prevent that just the same as preventing the buy itself...
Sweet. Mass Effect 2 (-50%) and Alpha Protocol (-75%) on the Daily Deal.
EDIT: Both ME games are half off. There goes my cash.
Sorry for the late post, traffic was a bitch getting home. Anyway pretty sure nearly everyone seen them, but what the hell..
Darksiders - 10.00
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising - 3.00
Dead Rising 2 - 19.99 (15.99 if you own Resident Evil 5)
DeathSpank 7.49
Alpha Protocol - 7.50
Silent Hunter series 66% off all games
Blur - 14.99
Wings of Prey - 6.00
Blood Bowl Legendary Edition - 19.99
Mass Effect series - 50% off all games
Patrician IV - Steam Special Edition - 7.50
Risen - 14.99
Nothing really stands out for me that's in my price range. Heard good things about Mass Effect but 20-30 bucks for both is still a lot for me sadly.
Mass Effect is definitely worth it, if you can only buy 1 then just get the first Mass Effect. I've easily put in over 100 hours on it.
For real, passing on both Mass Effects at $10 when you haven't played them is crazy. They are awesome games although I enjoyed the first a lot more due to having more RPG elements.
I'll probably grab Operation Flashpoint seeing as it's only $3 and has some co-op, as shitty as it may be. And probably Wings of Prey, I'm a sucker for flying games.
Mass Effect was $5 last year so I'm still holding out for that
Today's Steam deals:
King Arthur Complete Pack - 5.39
Fallout New Vegas - 29.99 (24.99 if you own Fallout 3)
Counter Strike: Source - 4.99
ARMA II - 9.99
Borderlands games 50% off each game/add-on
Saints Row 2 - 7.50
Battlefield 2: Complete Collection 5.00
Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse - 9.99
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon games - 75% off all games
Torchlight - 4.99
Devil May Cry 4 - 9.99
So and so. Torchlight any good?
Anyone ever play that King Arthur game? It looks decent and for only 5$ not that bad.
Torchlight demo was badass, they are pushing it so much because Torchlight 2 is coming in 2011.
I was on the fence about Torchlight but for $5 you can't really beat that
Torchlight is really pretty good imo, there's also a modding community for it if you get bored with the content in the game (which is limited comparatively, but still a great game that will eat many many hours). If you don't like dungeon crawlers (god help you) then you probably won't like it, but if you do, then you most likely will.
Spent way too much today, fallout NV, all the borderlands DLC and the overlord pack. I really can't think of anything else I'd like to buy, I think I pretty much have all the games I've been interested in.
Mainly waiting for a sale on Mount & Blade: Warband, and the Broken Sword Triple Pack.
Not really much else I care for. I guess I'd be more excited for this xmas if I didn't already own more than half the games that were on sale that I cared for.
what's the chance they'd ever cut the price on the fallout collection (1/2/tactics). i'd grab that in a second. and i damn well know those games are worth more than they are even priced now, i just don't feel like re-buying them all at that price. would be nice to have on the steam list though.
How is Devil May Cry 4 on the PC anyway? Bad port?
EDIT: It says 10 dollars on the magazine thing in the steam browser.
It's a good port, as long as you have a 360 or similar controller. DMC3 port is the one that sucks ass.
