Going to buy the grand theft auto pack once i get this silly business of not being allowed to buy things when away from the country where your credit card was issued deal. 10bux for grand theft auto 4 plus both addns seems like good deal.

Just hope you got a powerful PC, GTA4 port wasn't exactly very well optimized from what I read. I'm looking forward to playing the add-ons myself, ordered a copy of Complete for the PS3 during boxing week for $5 more.


Not much else I care for with regards to today's sales that I either don't already own (Oblivion), or would prefer to have on a console (Hot Pursuit). Hope the Oblivion deal means a Morrowind deal isn't far off. Never got around to purchasing the two expansions for that back in the day.

Eyeballing Europa Universalis III for 4.99, anyone have any words about it? Reviews seem pretty good minus graphics complaints and historical accuracy which either don't bother me at all.

I'm tempted to pick up Oblivion, I tried playing it a while back on PS3 and got fed up quick, but now that I've played Fallout 3 and NV it seems like it'll be great. GTA4 + addons for $10 is a steal, I have more hours logged on that than any other game in my library (except FFXI), there is tons and tons of stuff to do online if you have some friends but I'm sure the numbers are really low now that it's been out for 2 and a half years.

that's how i felt too after reading about all the modding possible on pc. i played morrowind & oblivion on xbox but didn't exactly finish either, although did use up tons of hours. morrowind looks like it can be improved a whole lot with some hacks.

CandC4 is probably worth the 5 bucks that it is. I might buy it and give it a go. RA3 sucks, but i did enjoy CC3 single player very much

picked up flight control HD for 1.70(for my netbook). Was tempted to get c&c 4, but I still haven't touched warhammer2 from the summer sales and I'm still happy with supreme commander even though it's like 3.50 now and I paid 11-ish 6 months ago.

Otherwise, those indy packs sound good, but it seems like there's maybe one game in each pack I would play, so it's cheaper to just buy it separate for 2.50 or whatever...

Boggles my mind that they didn't include Half-Life:Source at all in the list even though the sale (including the 85% w/ L4D) still applies to it. Nabbed me a copy for the sake of completing my HL collection, and will probably play through it anyways as it's been some time since I played the original, so it'll be cool to see what they did with the Source engine port of it: http://store.steampowered.com/app/280/
