I bought mafia 2 on mon or w/e deal day it was to get it for 7.50. Due to the fact I cancelled WoW, I've actually been playing it. Let me say, it is NOT a 1950's GTA, it is a sandbox game only as a gimmick, having to drive to missions in crap 1950's cars is just an excuse to add 5+ mins to every chore of a mission and there is nothing to enjoy outside of said mission. Furthermore, I happen to be stuck on chapter/level 13 or so due to the fact that it is glitched, preventing me from moving on. I bought the game on steam because it was a bragging point to both ps3 and xbox during e3 that they would get it. The game is scripted, there is no sandbox gameplay to speak of... Cops are on every other street corner just to catch you grabbing a car. They mark you wanted so you cannot just sit in an alley for a min waiting for wanted to drop, you have to change clothes to get away, but all shops are guarded by cops.... This is NOT a sandbox game like GTA, get it for a linear story with no replay, misleading ads made me overpay 7.50 for this garbage...

While mafia 2 does have some issues I think you're being a bit OTT, if you really dig music when you play and like the eras music then it's a really fun game, if you dont then yeah I could see some hate
they finished the main story and then seem to have gone " well, we could flesh this out or we could just ship it and bolt on DLC for more moniez?"

I can get Sims 3 Deluxe (includes Sims 3 + Ambitions expansion) for the same price as them both on their Steam 'sale'. Been waiting on a time for when EA releases a large bundle, but I guess this isn't it yet. Sims 1 ate a chunk of my money with the expansions, so I've been playing it safe with #3.

Do it. Borderlands is great fun when you play with others. Kind of boring alone though.

A little late on this, but man... Moxxi's Underdome Riot is the most boring and repetitive shit DLC ever. I'm having a hard time making myself play through the other 2 stages for my free ability point after the first. It's a joke compared to the final 2 DLCs, while the first (The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned) is pretty short.

Just some skins/soundtrack, not any of the dlc. also, no dlc is on sale, add $40 to that sale price for the full game.
