I love Steam deals, but I prefer only actually having to check for just the midweek/weekend entries and that's it. 7-days a week going to be annoying. Perhaps someone will set up an SMS service that txts your phone with today's entry. ;/

Um, they have both a facebook and a twitter feed. Unless your phone is stuck in the 1990s you should be able to arrange this on your own.

Facebook and Twitter can both send normal SMS messages to any phone, not just smart phones.

Honestly I think it'd just be easier to bookmark the steam store front page and check it in the morning before work rather than be hassled by my phone about what to buy next every day.

They're doing it to compete with Impulse. Not to mention it'll make people check Steam everyday to see the new deals. No complaints from me.

As in the story?

As far as I know, it goes Sands of Time, Forgotten Time, Warrior Within, Two Thrones. Prince of Persia (2008.) just kinda goes off and does its own thing, but if I had to put a wager, it'd be after all of the prior entries given how the Prince in it is set up.


I'd recommend playing them in order of release though.

Fun week for steam sales. They have 1) Ubisoft sale week (ruse and settlers 7 gold today) 2) midweek madness (there seems to be 2 of them, the sam and max's and dungeons) 3) the daily deals. I am gonna be out at least $50 by sunday ; ;

Farcry 2 $5, both for 7.50. Thurs.

It's only a couple years old, but even on max res/settings it looks OLD. After buying it, I wouldn't recommend it.

Far Cry was, when it came out. Far Cry 2 wasn't really...though it doesn't look -that- bad.

Far Cry 2 was decent but one of reasons I stopped playing was the HORRID voice acting. I don't what they did but the entire dialogue seems like one giant, incredibly fast sentence. There is practically no pause between what people say to each other, really gets to me.

Rainbow6 3: Gold, yay or nay?

This is coming from someone who thoroughly enjoyed the original & rogue spear, and not the more modern entries that went in favor of linear level progression with throwing pre-planning out the window.


I have a physical copy of vanilla R6 3 from one of my old vid cards around here.......somewhere, but $3 seems less of a pain for the gold edition.

While on that subject, how is the Ghost Recon series? Not played any of them aside from GRAW1, which was fucking difficulty on PC due to some bad design choices.
