I thought about purchasing it for PS3 awhile ago, but might pull it on this........... is it still worth it, or dying game?

I wouldn't bother. The only MMO that's currently worth messing with other than Rift ATM is WoW from what I gather. GW2 shows promise, if you're not currently playing a MMO, I'd just wait for that.

I wouldn't JM.. I bought it and honestly tried to get into it. Right now, population is spread too thing across all the servers. I know they are going to be merging servers next month or so. But even then, I don't think that would save it. There is just not enough content in my opinion to keep you playing. I mean, in 4 days with about 4 hr or so of game play, I hit max level ( which is 30 ). And little end game. 3 or 4 raids and those are maybe 1/2hr to 45min at most. I really wanted this game to succeed since I am a very big DC fan, but it just didn't make it but then, it's SOE ...

I was interested enough to look for some video on MNC. It looks like something that plays on a screen during a tv show or movie, very cheap and over-the-top animations that aren't gameplay (jumping on top of a dino and riding like a bull with the viewpoint of an onlooker).

Has anyone played it? Xbox reviews of the original weren't too favorable, and what followed because of that left a sour taste in my mouth, but this port seems to be upgraded upon the original, perhaps fixing some of the core problems? Probably grabbing anyway since only $3, and I could use something new to play that isn't super long.
