Without going all Vajra on y'all be duly warned: There is a line between the deals that are good throughout the sale, and the daily deals. Very often, things that are 33% off 'all summer' become 67% off as part of a daily deal. Put succinctly,

If it is not a daily deal, do not buy. Wait until the last day for all sale-long purchases, because they often will go on daily deal.

There are too many horror stories from last xmas/summer of people buying something for $30.00 then watch it drop to $12.50 a few days later.
