God damnit, i almost got through this without buying anything then I saw mention of cyan collection sale and had to have it And since I was buying something anyways, I threw in borderlands too for no reason. This shit is like crack man, I still have a bunch of games from the last couple I never played.

What's funny is that Magicka has

a Crash to Desktop spell.

Only thing I can suggest is to try and update to the latest .Net framework. Magicka is finicky as fuck, and was much worse as its launch than it is now apparently.

Tried that using both on/offline installer for 4/3.5 and it didn't work.

Might reinstall windows (again) though as I'm have some other issues (sfc won't run and tablet pc something keeps crashing on startup and won't close when I have drivers installed for my bamboo pen)

In case anyone else was having the same problem I was having, some of the combo sale packs earlier in the week already contain some of the prizes you can redeem. (I was trying to get the addon to AI Command but I guess it already came in the pack I got on sale, but I hadn't played it yet to know that). So if you get the vague: "Oops there was an error" message, check to see if you already have it

Shit gets so repetitive after a while, and half way through the game you'll come across an ability on a gun so OP that the game turns into EZ mode. I enjoyed it a lot until I got to that point (for me it was ammo regen on a really good revolver).

Sounds about where my friend and I made it, and at that point it just got boring and we only finished because we felt like we should. Borderlands is a game that's hard not to recommend to people just because of how much people loved it, but I certainly wasn't one of them .
