$70 for every game ever made by ID and Bethesda. Includes DLC.
Fallout New Vegas + DLC
Fallout 3 GotYE
Oblivion GotYE
Morrowind GotYE
Brink
Quake I - IV
Doom I - III
and a bunch of other old games. 31 games altogether.
It's a 4 day sale too, I hope Elder Scrolls or Fallout get their own seperate bundle.
If you think about how you're getting the DLC for free for the next 2 weeks. If the game only becomes cheaper after those 2 weeks are up, then even if the game costs $15 (it's $25 atm, I think this weekend), you'll still be paying $25 if you want the DLC content. Assuming they drop it even cheaper after this sale ends. I guess unless you mean you'll wait a year and then see what it costs?
And I get my wish~We’re pleased to announce that during QuakeCon 2011 (August 4th – 7th) there will be daily deals via Steam on id Software and Bethesda Softworks’ titles.
The crown jewel of deals is the QuakeCon 2011 pack. For $69.99, you get 34 titles — including Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Brink, Oblivion GOTY Deluxe, Morrowind GOTY, Commander Keen, DOOM 1-3, abd QUAKE 1-4. The deal becomes even sweeter if you pre-order both RAGE & Skyrim — dropping the price of the pack to $39.99.
In addition to the QuakeCon 2011 pack, we’ve got daily deals, too. Today you can get the DOOM & QUAKE pack for $29.99 (or $19.99 if you pre-order RAGE). Deals later this weekend include:
Friday — Elder Scrolls sale
Saturday — Brink 50% off
Sunday — Fallout sale
In addition to Steam discounts, several iPhone titles from id Mobile – Wolfenstein 3D Classic Platinum, DOOM II RPG, DOOM Classic, and DOOM Resurrection – will be on sale on the Apple iTunes store.
Well shit, that ruined my weekend. Was hoping they'd break some of the bundles down further, but I guess they wanted to waste Sat on Brink for the same sale it's been on all week now.
Wanted to get all of Quake, but they packed it in with Doom which I already owned on Steam. Now I get to sit here and contemplate if I want to get Morrowind GOTY for $10....
(never played its expansions, already own the core game)
I've always wondered why the only version of Commander Keen available is the first 3 games. Maybe eps 4-6 are bad but unless for some reason another company is just sitting on the rights I see no reason why the whole thing can't be sold in one bundle.
Oh hey 4-5 are there, didn't check the full description.
Picked up the Elder Scrolls collection this morning, anyone mind linking me to some good Morrowind/Oblivion mods?

Spoiler: show
I didn't want to shit up the skyrim thread, but, what's the appeal behind the elder scrolls series? I bought oblivion a week or so ago and I just can't see why it's so popular. The combat is clunky and just overall bad, and it plays awfully in first person. Third person support is horrible too even with recommended mods for it installed. =/ Even mods didn't really do much to make it any good. I know people say that "the game isn't for everyone", but I'm just curios what the mass appeal of this series is.
the ability to really make your character and do what you want
It's a series that's about the sum of its parts. It's always had clunky combat, bad interfaces, and general controls. It's a giant sandbox'ish fantasy world to fuck about in however you please.
Also, I'm now really regretting now picking up the Doom+Quake bundle. Seems the stand-alone Quake bundle still doesn't include Quake 4, which is selling for $19.99 stand-alone. Oh well, always Xmas sales.
Kind of a joke they're selling it for $20 in the first place. I get it just released on Steam, but the game was made in 2005. I bet a lot of sales were just people wanting the Quake rocket launcher for TF2.
Quake 4 is kinda shitty anyway, you're not missing much.
I just wanted to own the whole series as it is, didn't care about the quality of each title. Never got around to playing the Quake2 expansions, let alone touch Q3/Q3A (even though the online playerbase is probably tiny at this point compared to QuakeLive), Q4 would have just been icing on the cake as I'm always up for a romp through an average FPS.
Just a shame Valve has yet to implement a means of preserving the redbook audio of the older titles they distribute, but I guess I could always fetch my Quake1 disc if I want to hear the NIN soundtrack once again.
I do with Bethesda would stop jewing on their older games though. Morrowind:GOTY is 8 years old yet it's the same price as Oblivion and New Vegas when there are not any sales happening.
Just bought Fallout 3 with all DLC and New Vegas for 16.74, w00t !
Couldn't help myself, I've been wanting New Vegas since it came out last year and $25 for the game and all DLC was something I couldn't pass up, probably won't see a deal like that till Christmas.
