New bundle place I've never heard of called Indie Royale. Currently have Sanctum, Nimbus, Gemini Rue, and A.R.E.S Extinction Agenda for $2.00 minimum. The more you pay over the minimum the less others pay. They have 4 other bundles coming out soon~ish. Thinking I'm going to hit up their mailing list as these indie bundles are always great deals.

Quick note is the minimum is going up pretty quick. It's already up in the $2.30 range now so I imagine it will be $3 at least by this evening (not that that's a lot of money, but not the $2 I mentioned). Went ahead and just used Paypal and bought mine while it was low.

Got for $2.56. Their set doesn't make me feel guilty for paying the lowest possible vs. Humble Bundle where I always toss them $5. >.>

Been wanting to play Gemini Rue for awhile so that was worth my while.

[EDIT] Is it me or is there no Steam option for Gemini? The other three I get an error with that they claim they're working on.

they are auto added to desura if you have it installed if the key doesnt work on steam

Unfortunately no steam code for Gemini despite it actually being on Steam. If you look under the name of each game on the site it tells you what platforms you can claim them on. Also yeah, I always feel guilty buying Humble Bundles for cheap even though it still goes to a good cause <_<

Time to get a Desura account then.

I just hate having to make offline backups since I never trust my hard drives.......nor can I find my stack of DVD-Rs that mysteriously disappeared a couple years ago.

Anyone have anything good/bad to say about Burn Zombie Burn? Thinking about picking it up, but I can't decide. Also, Dead Horde looks like a lot like Dead Nation which I had a lot of fun with. Could anyone speak to this one too?

It's perfectly fine, there's an unofficial patch that fixes everything. It's actually a really good game.

There are still a few rough edges - I've played through it once, partly through a second playthrough. It still has some occasionally annoying clipping issues (some design related), I've rarely run into scripting bugs n' things...but overall it's highly playable and really an exceptional game that anyone who ever even thought they might like Deus Ex would be foolish to pass up for $5.

Update for those of you who purchased the Indie Royale Bundle, 2 Sanctum DLCs have been added to your page and Gemini Rue now has a Steam key available. If you haven't bought it, it's down to 3.40 currently.

Still seems to have some bugs even with unofficial patch, heh. I broke the tutorial somehow, but the game seems to keep X amount of individual quick saves (or the unofficial patch added that functionality) so I was able to revert to a couple minutes ago with an earlier save.

At any rate, am an hour in, and this is so far my favourite vampire game. The excellent voice acting caught me off guard also.
