Still on the fence about Rock of Ages. Has anyone played it that can speak to how good or bad it is?
Made out like a bandit with the steam sales.
Portal 2 $7.49
Mass Effect 1+2, Batman AA $4.99 each
Sonic Generations $10
Deus Ex HR $10 from amazon and it's steam activated.. neat little touch to add the achivements.
Dragon Age Origins Ultimate $10
no more steam... please. I also bought 4-5 extra copies for friends.
Their servers are so fucked up, I haven't been able to see the Store page in over 3 days.
I don't even know where to begin with this blockbuster list of games, kind of shot myself in the foot there. Deus Ex HR is definitely first though, got some unfinished business with that game.
really? it's a mess every day right at 1est for me but it usually clears up within a half hour. i've had no problems from like 2pm-12:59pm any day.
my funds aren't getting raped nearly as bad as last year but i am still spending more than i'd like to on games i'll probably never get to weeee
Anyone want Dwarfs!? for a trade? idk bout it
How do I get humble bundle games on steam so I can do the achievements, or can I?
Hmm, my recommendation got me a 50% off Monday Night Combat cupon.
Not too excited about todays deals =\ any diamond in the roughs in there I should know about?
Cities in Motion is fun, if you're into planning/logistics games (SimCity, Transport Tycoon, etc).
Solar looks like a super trippy, chill out game.
Terraria
KOTOR
Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (and the older ones, but they didn't age as well... same goes for Republic Commando)
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, The Warrior Within, and The Two Thrones
FEAR 1 + Expansions, don't get 2... 3 is okish for coop, but the story is fullbaka after 1
Sequencer is pretty fun from what I played
I'm not really into RTS games so I can't say anything about those.
Today was honestly one of the better days.
Edit:
Not sure if it goes here but Dungeon Siege 3, which registers on steam, is on sale for $5 on Amazon. Thought it was a good deal so I got it, its $20-30 everywhere else.
They've been doing deals every other day, some of which are better than Steam's deals themselves (Magicka Collection was $4 yesterday). Just have to check the reviews and see if anybody complains about the game being on Steam. If there's no complaints chances are it doesn't register on Steam, only found a couple that didn't (Bioshock 2 for example).
serious sam gold edition. 4 games for 5 bucks. nom nom.
Technically 2 games with optional souped-up-visuals version. Still a blast with friends though, assuming you have any with a taste for running backwards and circle strafing non-stop. I believe they even added an optional DLC to people who own both HD versions on Steam where the 2nd Encounter merges all of the content of the 1st into it, so you can do both campaigns and all multiplayer content within the one game.
Double D & Random Encounter aren't half-bad diversions also for a couple bucks.
Serious Sam 3 for $11.99 @ http://www.getgamesgo.com/product/serious-sam-3-bfe btw. $8 cheaper than the current Steam sale, Steamworks game so the site supplies you a key to activate on Steam.
