anyone else find it funny how linux users are always a few dollars higher then the rest? and its not like by one dollar we are talking about almost 2x what windows users give and like 50% more then mac users give. I want a test iso vs android1

There's also Build-a-Bundle ($9 minimum for all, or pick-and-choose for less) and IndieGala V happening currently.

Shame some of the Gala games aren't Steam key'd, means I'll have to lug out the external HD for backing the DRM-free copies up. There's a reason I like Steam/GOG/Desura, I don't *need* to make backups.

If you're referring to humble bundle: it's like any transaction. Once you pay, they give you a product key which you can activate on steam. The difference is that you can pick any price. You have to pay a certain amount to get Bastion, though.

You donate what you want, and you get all the games (except Bastion. You need to "beat the average" to get that, which is currently only $7.69 but will go up as more people buy over the average). You can also choose how you want to divide up the money between charity, the developers of the games and the people who run Humble Bundle. They provide you with a direct download for all the games and steam keys if you want them on your Steam inventory. This time they're also offering a bonus of the soundtracks to every game in the Bundle, which has no minimum purchase requirement.

There's been about a dozen humble bundles since they started. 5 numbered ones, 2 android ones, and several developer ones (Frozen Byte, Introversion, Frozen Synapse, Voxatron Debut, Mojam).

I really want Bastion from this one, but I don't have enough money to beat the average at this time. We've taken on a second job to try to get ahead of the bills so I can get the VA benefits to kick back in for one of my roommates, which will pay for their tuition and living expenses and keep us in the green for a while.

Steam Summer sale is on the horizon, you should be seeing it for $5 or less during that on Steam if you don't care about/already own the other games in the bundle.

If anyone was on the fence before, Humble Bundle just added Super Meat Boy, Braid and Lone Survivor. All for just less than $8. Best indie bundle I've ever seen.
