You gave me a move set for my vaporeon, and I think you said Aurora Beam.

Currently he has Surf, Aurora Beam, Blizzard, and Bite... JUST got Ice Beam like 30seconds ago, do I replace Aurora or Blizzard with it? Or save it? Blizzard rapes shit even though its not stab, but it misses way too much, so thats what I might toss. Aurora beam is nice since its got more PP than Ice Beam, so I don't have to waste any PP on spamming icebeam if something is too low.

I don't think I'll ever have an Ice pokemon to stab Ice Beam with, so should i just give it to vaporeon over blizzard anyway, and eventually maybe toss out aurora when I pick up maybe signal beam?

As soon as I find my other DS, which is action replayed, I'll have an infinite amount of TM's so getting another Ice beam might not be all that difficult (as long as I can find the DS...)

Yeah since getting another Ice Beam TM won't be a problem I'd replace Blizzard for now and then replace Aurora asap, kinda weird having both. I steer clear of those 120+ powe rmoves with <95 accuracy. It always feels like the game misses way more often than the accuracy states even at 95% so below that things just gets annoying.

So yeah I just picked this game up a week ago. I just caught Giratina, and I'm working on the fairy things. I got a few questions here...
Can you obtain multiple Magmarizers/Electrizers in Platinum? I mean, do the wild Magmar and Electabuzz carry them like Magby and Elekid do? Or am I limited to the only ones I've found so far?

Also, is there a um, "list" of items and how to obtain them somewhere? I checked out Gamefaqs and Serebii, maybe I'm not looking in the right spot.

I've always used Serebii.net but I haven't played Pokemon in a while. I was really hardcore into Diamond and only put about 15-20 hours on my Platinum. :/

I use both, Serebii has information about the Pokemon specifically while Bulbapedia has more information about the game in general, i.e. trainer pokemon, item locations, etc.

First you need to unlock mystery gift.

"Mystery Gift can only be activated at the Jubilife City TV station. In the station, there is an interviewer on the third floor who will activate the Mystery Gift function if players answer his questions with the correct keywords shown below (again, based on the language of the game)." Keywords are: "EVERYONE HAPPY WI-FI CONNECTION"

After you have done that you can go to the main menu and go to mystery gift and select Nintendo Wifi gift. Or something similar like that and select Member's card. You need the national pokedex and need to have done the Cresellia side quest(Takes 5min if that) to get to Newmoon island ingame.

I think this Darkrai event is Platinum only. At least it seems that way according to Pokémon.com : The Official Pokémon Website
