My Suggestion for HNM Claiming method

Faf/Nid, Adam,Aspid, Beh/KB, Khim, Cerb, KA, Tiamat - as these seem to be the mobs that are botted the most.

1. These mobs will now pop and not aggro at all.

2. Upon popping, they will say a quote like the Sky gods do " I am fafnir, hear me Roar". This will let everybody know that the mob has popped regardless if they can see it or not.

3. Upon popping, all players in the area above level 70 will have 15secs to /random. The highest /random will get claim. You will only be allowed to do 1 /random.

4. If the party/alliance wipes to the mob, the mob will go unclaim, regen to full, and do it's quote again, allowing ppl 15secs to /random for claim.

5. These mobs will no longer be able to be CFH on.


Large shells would still have a somewhat advantage by the # of ppl in zone, but not as big an advantage as claim bots.

The worst part of this for me is, that it takes the thrill away of claiming the mob. Claiming without the use of tools I mean, with using a bot, there is nothing to brag about, you didn't do anything, the program did....

I'm not sure if this could be programmed in the game, it's just something I thought about.

Have the NQ/HQ Kings pop as a standard NPC. They look at the sorrounding players and randomly choose one to fight. The NPC then becomes a monster claimed by Player X.

Players would have a small influence by bringing more people to give their shell a better chance to claim. People could also weigh out there time a little more as well. Example, there are 190 people in Aery we can only bring 10 people tonight. That is a 5% chance to claim. Maybe we'll do something else.

The "monster claims the player" thing I've been suggesting for ages. Bonus points: If it one-shots the person and aggro resets, it proceeds to claim itself to another target instead.

There is no way to reliably kill botting as it stands- the only way to eliminate it from being used is rendering the players unable to claim Kings to begin with.
