What Relic#2 should i upgrade

Maybe I have only seen Samurai who don't know how to use Amanomurakumo properly, but I've never been amazed by it. I have, however, seen some pretty amazing things come from a Yoichinoyumi. Being able to solo Light, twice, with no enmity, is pretty cool. Also, all that stuff richardd said about Apocalypse doesn't sound so mediocre either. I've also seen Dark Knights use Apocalypse quite well, but most tend to make me cry that they have it and don't know how to use it.

To me the point of an Apocalypse is that it allows you to play extremely aggressively and not be a huge burden. I can whip out a Kraken Club every 5 minutes on Souleater and rape everything in sight if I'm being cure spammed by 7 out of party mages, but that's rather ridiculous.

People have to gear themselves for Amano for it to really shine. The difference is really amazing. I find Kaiten to be better than Y/G/K 95% of the time. The 5% it isn't would be JoL, Limbus Faf(I can't spell his name) and a few other things with high def and no BRD/COR situations. In any case, Gekko or Rana with Amano still beats Gekko with Futsuno or any other similar GK. You can argue that you can achieve 5-hit, but really you can easily achieve 6-hit with Amano and its delay and DPS is way better. Doing the math, with 437 delay you still get 100% TP about as fast with a 5-hit setup Futsuno vs 6-hit setup Amano, not taking into account the +20 Acc.


To the OP: Upgrade whatever sounds most appealing to you. Apoc, Amano, and Yoichi are all great and worth upgrading for different aspects.

Apoc: Allows for more aggresive play and more use of attack/acc gear since you only need 16% haste with Catastrophe.
Amano: Epic light skillchaining, Kaiten is a superior WS most of the time. This is a rarity among relic WS, since most aren't usually worth using.
Yoichi: Chance of impressive Barrages if SAM/RNG or RNG main, almost hateless WS w/ Namas Arrow, able to use Namas as SAM without /RNG.

Isn't annihilator very similar to yoichi?(Meaning it should also be up there with yoichi in terms of usefullness/utility/etc)
