Personally I don't think they should do gil as a reward though. Maybe do vouchers for a Relic Weapon or Mythic if your choice instead of a 100 mil-ish prize. I think that would make the debate of what to get a bit more interesting.

Either way, it's a good chance for players who can't make a lot of gil, to make gil. Sure it may not benefit those already loaded or only care for relics/mythics, but a lot of gil can go a long way towards others things.

I'm betting you have to activate before April 1st JST, this way SE makes extra money.

Perhaps they confused Joytoy and Haute ?! Since its quite clear SE doesn't play their own games despite them saying "Employees of Square Enix, Square Enix Inc. and Square Enix Ltd. and their relatives are forbidden from participating in the Mog Bonanza."

Not a typo. Less people will win rank 2 than rank 3, so the split between that rank and rank three will be less, and therefore a gil prize in rank two will be worth more than rank 3's.

Are some of AV/PW items sellable? I never paid much attention to that since its mostly people Q_Q about not being able to kill it or 'it's too hard' etc.

If so, wouldn't that mean people could make a lot more than 100m if they so chose granted they won the items?

Well they did a good job with the 1st prize and using a % of sales, etc. There will be less than 50 winners this time because of the 45 day rule they just placed. The reason there were so many winners for 1st prize last time is because everyone was maxing out their mules and buying 10 orbs each (No telling what the RMT were doing, all those accounts). I surprised that they did that tho.... all those 1 dollar mules add up. If you are going to max your mules you better make them now ;p
