Shopped at EBgames they use to be cool but when they got bought out by Gamestop they fired all the employees, hired new ones and now have piss poor customer service and overpriced games.

Rather do my shopping at Target or Best Buy you can usually get a better deal there. For example I got my Street Fighter IV collectors edition for $20 at Best Buy on release day, they sent me a $45 off any game coupon cause I was a reward zone member a long time and I had $15 in reward coupons. Won't find deals like that at Gamestop. They will charge you MSRP on new releases no matter what. Most of the time Best Buy or Target will have a game $10 off during the first week and they occasionally go on sale too in the weeks after.

Costco has better prices on games then GS too. At Costco every new PS3 and 360 game is $53. My Costco gets in the majority of new releases, they usually don't get in obscure games but its worth saving money by shopping there.

agree pretty much 100%, I buy almost all my games on amazon these days unless I see them on sale at another retailer.

I'll still buy some games at gamestop, but only when they're really cheap or when gamestop is having a b2g1 used sale. But these days I don't really buy used games unless it's something rare, and even then I hate buying at gamestop because well... it's gamestop, and also they put all those fucking stickers on everything.

Amazon really is the best.

When I worked there, was nothing like someone bringing in a madden game 3 yr's old expecting 20 or 30 bucks. Worked there for 3 yr's as a store manager and heard it everyday about the trade in's.

honestly it's not that terrible, FFTactics for psp is a good deal at 9.99 as is silent hill origins. Persona 3 FES at 19.99 is a decent deal too, as is the RE: Essential collections which is 19.99 for RE4 and 2 other games.

I'll pick up VC for sure, and I'd consider getting FF1/FF2 for psp for 9.99 each but we'll see.
