Another Salvage BR post! Help lol

I pre-apologize if this is not the right forum to use or not for this post but being new regi I cant post anywhere else...

I know there have been quite and few threads on this as far as rampart theories are concerned and this isn't intended to rehash all of that.

My groups issue has been the lack of NM pops off ramparts since the duping bans and just wondering if anyone else has seen the same problem.

Prior to bans we were seeing the average pop % listed on wiki. Some runs 0, some runs 1, some runs 3-4. So about the same I'd imagine as most other groups. Since the duping bans our group has seen no nms off ramparts. not even one.

We have tried every theory under the sun and made up some along the way and still nothing. After todays run we are at an estimated 1600-1800 pops without an NM, including 13 full ramparts from 100-0%.

We currently only farm 1st and 2nd floor ramparts if that makes a difference and just curious if this is just us or anyone else experiencing the same thing. At this point I find it hard to believe that its just bad luck because laws of "random" and probability wouldve had us have at least one pop by now.

Any imput would be great. Thanks alot.

I know it's not what you want to hear, but it is.

In my experience, either you get multiple NMs, or none. My group has been doing Salvage since July, and trying to get 35 Usu feet since then. In over God knows how many 2F Ramparts, we got one about a month back that popped a single bee NM. Then a few runs later we got one that popped 3 NMs, but only one dropped, and it was the wrong 35 (Skadi head).

That's TWO Ramparts popping NMs in like 9 months of Salvage, most of which was before the bans.

I don't have any concrete numbers, but we've been focused on Rampart farming pretty heavily the last few weeks and we've gotten:

0 Gate Widows (Had MB 3 or 4 times, I can't remember exactly)

2 runs that spawned 3-4 Skirmish each time (1 Usu drop)

2 runs that spawned Zebra Zachary 3-4 each time (2 Ares drops on same run)

1 run that spawned Peryton 3-4 times (1 Skadi drop)

Several runs with no NMs, like last night, did MB, Bees, Colibri full farming each one, not a single NM.

I know the pop rate is horrid we had the same issue on bee(never getting them in 6ish months) but before the new year we were getting the 1-2% and simillar you either get 0 or get 2-3+, and now its down to 0%. Probability shouldve kicked in by now if this is truly random.

My group see the damm nm's pop, we actually are lucky on bomber rampart but the bees rampart... 0/22 on our last bees nm for usu feets (after our last usu feet dropped, my group has seen 3 35's usu in like a year and a half) with NM popping and 1 or 2 skadi mask from those 22, so yea actually we in general see the nm's pop frecuently, ares hands we barely have seen the nm pop, but got 2 drops from that, and last rampart dont remember how many pops but no drops from that yet.

My group went a good six months without seeing a single pedobee. Then we had a couple runs in succession of seeing 5 pops per run from that rampart.

It's just luck, and if it's not luck, the pattern hasn't yet been found.

I half suspect the rampart pops are based off vanadiel seasons, but good luck proving it.

Considering I just saw my first Skirmish Pephredo ever about a week ago, I'd say you've been having good luck.

On 1F, try killing Mad Bomber before it grows even once. On 2F, experiment with the order in which you kill the puddings. I've noticed at times when we get "turned on" ramparts, that we kill things extra fast (1F, 4F) or make precision gear pulls (3F, we had 8 NMs come from that rampart once with clean pulls of the Gears in each room during weather).

After hundreds of Bhaflau runs it seems to me that it can't be completely random.

In the last yearI can only remember a handful of runs where I haven't seen at least 1 nm from a rampart. Our drop rate still sucks on certain items but we've gotten most of what we needed.

I'm 90% sure this is just luck, however there is something we started doing out of desperation a long time ago. Someone suggested that with them being "reactionary" they may react to something, someone said lol elemental days and crafting. Anyway we started pulling with a tier 1 spell of the day, and mobs started popping. If you saw one early on you'd generally get 3-4, even if nothing popped early we'd typically see one at lower %.

Obviously as one group we can't hope to get near the data to prove this has any effect at all, it was suggested and rebuked by a few groups in the main thread a while ago iirc. I guess the main reason we keep doing it is, you have to pull it somehow, no one has any better ideas, why change something whilst you are still lucky.

In terms of actual advice, go more, do things differently even if just to keep the runs fresh. If you are just doing floor 1 and 2 you'll have plenty of time to mess around with jobs etc. Don't try zerging down puddings though... they need to have a bit of time to pop spikes (that was a short run).

im having 0/23 ramparts on bee NM when salvage first introduced

24th pop NM and no dorps, and then no NMs until 31st

took me my 31st door to have it drop

yep, my luck sucks but thats salvage

if you wanna farm rampart, stack up your AP and "pray" that the NM pop rate + SSR drop rate fix is introduced this April. (SE said they will boost in this 2 aspects but didnt say when lol)

1F - Tried killing before it grows and tried killing when it is biggest...no difference.
3F - Precision pulls on 3F doesn't work either. Had pops with or without links.

We were doing BR pretty often and it took several months before we seen a single Bee NM, while it was raining Spiders. From my experience, it's all luck and if you have it, you get it in large quantities.
