Release date is this fall, I enjoyed the 1st PS3, hoping they bring back multiplayer, I enjoyed whacking people with wrenches in UYA.

Should be done near the end of 2009 given how long it;s taken them to announce it ever since they released Quest for Booty (which teased at the next installment at the end)


Looking forward to it and hoping for some bloody online play also. Just hope they're going to do what they did in Resistance2 and just fill the screen with baddies to kill. 60+ mobs onscreen at once would be epic for the weapons the series is known for.

Oh Cyde, every time you post I fall in love with you more. You already know I love some R&C so I can't wait. I think they will include some type of Multiplayer tho, I was kinda shocked they didn't include it in Future.

R&C is one of those games that has changed so very little since it was first introduced for the ps2, but the formula is so close to perfection that they really have to do very little to make something truly great. I feel the psp version was a bit on the weak side, and I liked the 2nd/3rd ones a bit more than the ps3 version, but this is one of my favorite series in gaming and I really can't wait for the next installment.

The only thing that needs to change in R&C games is the weapons. I can run around for hours just killing shit if the weapons are awesome.

Yeh I would recommend Quest for Booty just for the ending! Pretty fun game still, short but not exactly expensive

I just picked up Secret Agent Clank on PS2, since I never played it for PSP. The load times can get really bad but overall it's apparently a better port than Size Matters. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting something R&C-ish to tide them over until this comes out. And it's only 20 bucks!
