It is ok, you are a woman so we wouldn't expect you to understand that the difference between brights and normal headlights on a lot of cars is simply the angle that they point at. Some people even call them "high beams" because the shine higher up than "low beams".

If anyone is blinding you, it is because they were too ignorance or lazy to aim their headlights properly. Sometimes people with regular headlights replace them and fail to aim them which causes the same problem. Often people who jack their trucks up also cause the same problem.

The amount of butt-hurt rage over headlights in this thread is off the scale. I have aftermarket HID lights, and it's not to be cool, it's because they throw out more light in a tighter pattern so I can see better at night. The difference is amazing. They are not blue. They are white. It's not a fashion statement. If you have never owned or driven in a vehicle with HID lights, your opinion means nothing, because you're clueless as to how much greater visibility is with them. If you like driving around in your dim world, then fine. Some of us appreciate being able to see better at night. If you're ass is wound up tighter than a rubber band over the subject because you think they are too bright, then sucks to be you.

It doesn't matter if you are dealing with a flood light or a flash light, anything shined directly into your eyes is going to blind you.

As long as the person with the floodlight aims it down properly it won't blind anyone.

Huh. I never realized those plates weren't pressure sensors. The idea of a metal detector sensing traffic makes a bit more sense though.

Yeah i'm ok right now. My neck hurts pretty bad and I went to the hospital yesterday to get checked out and they said I was fine. I'm going to talk to an lawyer today to see if I can get enough money out of this to get a new ride. The guy smashed me into a van in front of me too so my car just got sandwiched. It's pretty well totalled. I was halfway expecting to see a bunch of "karma's a bitch" and "that's what you get, asshole" comments from all the people who have been QQing in this thread. This just means I get my Jeep faster
