    'Tall' size vendors

I can't, to save my life, find stores that sell Large-Tall men's size stuff, so the next logical place I go to is the internet.

I'm mostly just trying to look around to find a LT Hooded sweatshirt that's either blank or doesn't contain some stupid Nascar/Sports thing and is a little bit lighter (not as thick type thing, more spring~ish) but I'm running into a lot more trouble than I thought.

Of course I don't really order anything much online so I'm not exactly sure where to start to look for this type of thing, and figured there would be at least one other guy on BG who was 6'3" and up.

I've tried Land's End/L.L. Bean/Eddie Bauer but they're all more colder weather type stores and tend to be a little bit more expensive than what I'm looking for anyway.

Any suggestions on places to look online? Or just stores in general?
Casual Male XL only has 1X and up, and the only Big&Tall I know of around me doesn't have sweatshirts =/

Dood what are you, a yeti? Keep looking online would be my only suggestion.

Apparently you need to be about 300+ pounds to be able to purchase just about anything for someone who's over 6'2" where I live, but seriously can't find any friggin' hoodies that aren't like 140$ super hipster bullshit =/

I'm six four and two hundred pounds so everything either is long enough buy extremely baggy or fits well around the chest but is three inches too short on the sleeves. I usually just slide up the sleeves so it's around my forearms so it doesn't look retardedly short. But I did find that Jordan sweatshirts fit the best but not perfect. I know your pain man

I have the exact same problems, I hate wearing shirts that end up like dresses but have to because they're the only ones that don't show my happy trail every time i go to high five someone.

About the only thing I've been wearing recently are the LT white t-shirts, so meh.

Yup. I wish they made a L/XL halfway point. I'd seriously pay a decent premium if they'd meet me in the middle. Oh well. At least I'll get paid more due to being taller!

Champs Sports has almost everything available in tall/xxx-tall size. The last hoodie I bought there were $15 and made out of 100% cotton. There's probably more available on the website, but it's better than having to go to some bullshit place like Big Dog or Men's Big and Tall.

I am 6'6" and fluctuate from 190-220, depends on if I am training or not.

With hoodies I generally go with Nike. Any sports store generally has hoodies for tall people or above average. The only thing on the Nike hoodies are the trademark swoop.

I have never had a problem finding shirts for me. I generally go with regular t-shirts, mainly from Buckle. For dress clothes, business casual I go to Men's Wearhouse. It takes some looking for long sleeve button ups but I generally roll up my sleeves if I go out.

The places I shop are Buckle/Diesel/Fossil/Express.

xD I've got it worse than all of you I think. I'm 6' 1" and I'm about 120. Problem is that they make men's big AND tall not men's big OR tall.

Regular clothes aren't much of an issue. A men's large will usually fit me just fine for what I need it. But dress clothes are a whole nother fucking story.

I was trying to get a blazer a few weeks back and I had to make do with one that was a size too big just because the only other option was having one custom tailored and I sure as hell wasn't going to pay 300+ for a blazer that I don't truely need for a little while.

Go to JC Penney's, Khols, Macys, any big clothing retailer. go to the customer services / layaway area and ask for an ordering catalog w/ custom sizes. 90% of the clothing manufacturers make the cloths you want but you have to special order them. i think i was charged a 5% extra mark up the last time i did it. being 6'4" and a 32" waist i have had to get clothes like this for a while.

I go here from time to time when I can't find tall dress shirts. I take an 18 or 18 1/2 neck with 36/37 sleeves, and not many stores around here carry that. Only downside is they can be a bit pricey.

Burlington Coat Factory also has some really nice shit there, cheap too.

Wow, that's Ethopian skinny. I think what we were all saying above is the same you rare. We want the Tall portion but not the Big. I would like my shirts to be 3 inches longer in the sleeves and at the bottom without getting wider at the chest.

I know the pain, 6'6", 140 yo! Long sticks ftw!

I haven't looked for a hoodie, but I found that JCPenny recently added 32/38 to a lot of their jeans sizes and picked up a few pairs (30/38 woulda been better >.>). I also found a lot of XT button up shirts and such on sale a few months ago there too I think that fit reasonably well, needs moar XXT...

My wife bought me a grey, LT zipper up hoody from LLBean or Lands End. I love it.

I get all of my t-shirts LT from LLBean.

Well shops in the UK are a lil different, we have shops like Big & Tall or High & Mighty here that sell stuff for large people like me! (6"8 280lb)
My suggestion is just keep looking online, getting clothes when tall sucks balls wherever you are in the world.

I felt bad when I got down to 190 being 6'6".

140 is really pushing it unless you are insane shape and even then you are still really unhealthy. Or that is what I think, how old are you?

Damn and I thought I was skinny at 5'9" 135-140.

To contribute to the thread places like Sportcheck and such usually have some really big stuff, especially when it comes to hoodies and sweaters.
