I just assumed his e-peen QD pic that was linked in his post was a Magic Crit proc. If it wasn't, I really have no idea why he'd be posting it in that kind of context.

Though, looking at it again it was a Goldfish, so he may have caught it with its mouth open or something. Hell if I know.

Thanks, I solo'ed him just now. I did /rdm for Bio II. Sped up the fight a bit. Whole thing took maybe 40min. One Pro II and then some. Was pretty easy, ran away once but was pretty easy to dodge links by camping the door and running around the loop once mobs started rushing me.

did chigre last nite, and someone wants me to try cheese hoarder. kite path seems obvious enough (around the 4 porters), but what do you do if u link the other rats? can you just outrun them with the movement speed and then they deagg eventually?

Did him last night and actually ended up pulling him with no adds to the 4 port block. (No idea how I managed that) The few times he did run you just hang out at the exit port in the middle and he'll come back eventually. The adds that came with him usually stopped just before coming into that room. Even if they didn't, I really wouldn't be worried much, just keep running/shooting and they'll eventually go away.

The only thing that I've solo'd that hasn't been mentioned yet is the Detonator NM. (Just hit 75 about a week or two ago so I'm still working on the job) Ended up pulling him down to the circle track where ellyon/aquarius pop.

have done chigre wulgaru brass borer, and trio a gration which im somewhat confident i could solo. anywho, exactly where on map do you pull the dahak znm mob too? thanks!

Current QD build. Need to pick up the elemental grips, 5agi rings and some AF+1. Been trying to think of some NM's to solo. Tried to do the Treant NM from the WotG missions, but couldn't keep up with his self curing

And also, soloing is soloing imo. The only things I've really soloed are..

Cheesewhore, Iriz Ima, Dea, Chigre, Wulgaru, Despot, Jailer of Fortitude, and I could have soloed Gration but he got so damn boring I gave up at 70% and killed myself last time. So boring.

Good luck though, you have good QD gear. ^-^

I don't get why people sacrifice AGI for M.Acc? M.Acc has never been proven to affect QD acc and why use an Elemental Grip over Wise Strap?

Gear is practically identical. Jem (i.e. me) had Warlock's Roll on fulltime. Demonkeeper did not. Both used QD the same amount of times. Whilst not exactly concrete as it was like only 32 mins and 24 seconds duration according to the parser, I'm inclined to believe QD is affected by magic accuracy given that was practically the only difference between us. Yes obviously we got different Wizard's Roll and there's an element of randomness to resists but not enough to make over 4k worth of damage difference in 33 mins imo.


EDIT: Will say don't look too much into the COR vs BLM damage. Some of the BLM's rotated to alleviate boredom as we had a few more than 18 people there. I definitely could hold my own against maybe an above average BLM but the pimper ones (And there's a few in there) would comfortably beat me by maybe 3k if they were in for full 100% and not holding back.

Pop @ E-6, kite around C/D-9. 2 ghosts will spawn at night around D-9. Other than that, no aggro in your kiting path. Be aware of the adult wamoura along your pulling path, and the sight aggro stuff in the tunnel.

The dragon stops so much on the way to your kiting area that you'll have plenty of time to pop a powder/oil if needed to avoid aggro.

Though even if you do aggro any, it's easy enough to lose the hate.

I solo Despot as /blm. I refuse to solo it as anything else as I deem it utterly pointless. I've soloed Despot three times and have only gotten hit all of zero times. He has a horrible flight path, he's slow, and even when my macro lags out my blink I still have plenty of room between the two of us.

Having said that, unless I can find a bunch of PH that spawn EM it's too dangerous to melee them down. In fact it just sucks period to take PH down. I swear Despot is easier to solo than the PH b/c the PH have a tendancy to depop at any given time.

Maybe if I went /nin (ewewew) I'd melee them down but I don't advise it. Quick draw takes off 8-13% per shot so if they don't despawn it doesn't take THAT long to QD one down and just feels SO much safer.

Yeah, there's plenty of time to oil/powder, it's more just a warning to be aware of them. And also just in case... adult wamoura don't lose aggro, from my experience, though I could be wrong.

Yah. It's page 3 if I remember correctly and it's like twelve of them. It certainly helps knowing you're at LEAST gonna get XP/Tabs/Gil from killing 12 even if Despot doesn't pop.

Afaik it has neither TP Regain nor does it move fast.

I've never soloed it but I have done it with one other Smn and when they would rest for MP I'd just kite around the two rocks in the center of the room.

Good luck if you do solo it and let me know how it goes. It's one of two T3 ZNMs I wish to try to solo. (I can only solo Dea thus far)

There's not a whole lot of room in the pop area to kite around, and sometimes he hax and goes over the rocks in the middle. I've never tried this on Cor so it may be doable since you don't have to worry about getting far enough ahead to cast dots (I trio'd this with a Rdm, Blm, Sch(me)).
