The anime ending is almost looking good after continuing to read this manga...

Just got done reading Koio Minato's IO, its a pretty good read if you got a few hours to spend and enjoy comedy, slice of life, or supernatural IMO. I'll leave the link and a summary of it below, plot kicks in around the end of chapter five,

Nakabaru Taiyo came to Okinawa in the pursuit of beautiful ladies and the blue sea... But while trying to hit on a cute girl, she told him that her mother died because of him... And then a story of scuba diving, beautiful women and adventure begins!

Manga took a turn for the worst after the insane guy got released by medusa. aside from the Black Star fights, hasnt been much good in it.

I am probably going to have to quit Soul Eater for a while because these chapters are just way too weird and I have no idea where the writer is trying to go with the series. It seems best when read in bulk but wow, after Baba's and the introduction of Noah, things just got too weird for me. Plus, the way it's drawn sometimes there is too much going on in each panel to get a good idea of what's going on. Nice to see Blair back, even though they almost made it seem like she was going to run a brothel for the students to "relax" at.

Let me guess.

Maka/Soul: Maka will get pissed off at soul, Soul will play it "cool", and they will end up accepting each other again despite their difference (althought, the sexual tension won't be resolved). It will be repeated in loop every 12 chapters for 3 chapters until the end of the manga.

Kid and Black starr won't see more character progress, instead, they will repeat the one gag they know for the rest of the manga.

Medusa: She will do the "right" thing and save Chrona in this arc. However, she has to pull one more evil scheme before changing side. After that, Chrona will beg Shinigami to not kill her, and everyone will forget Medusa ever killed people and will befriend her.

The new bad guys: They will try to control the madness god using Medusa's experiment, but will will be stopped by the main characters. Because of this, everyone will know his location, and the manga will be able to move to the next arc.

If the author want to stretch it more, he will adds another filler arc about the sorceress council.

I hope I'm wrong.

Beelzebub is pretty awesome.

I'm glad that Evangelion 84 finally show some divergent from the anime ending, I was really worried that it'd just be another troll when Misato kissed Shinji goodbye, but I guess the Shinji in the manga actually have enough balls to not leave Asuka hanging outside.

Let's bible reminds me of that manga where Buddha and Jesus decided to be roommates in Japan.
It wasn't amazing but it had it's hilarious moments like Jesus wanting Nintendogs so that he could be mean to the puppy and know what it's like to finally not be loved by all animals. Him not knowing how to swim because he walked on water instead was funny too.

I read the new Beelzebub and just flat out died laughing. I was afraid that the manga was gonna go on a "Oga finds new opponent, uses Beel to godstomp them, move up the chain" thing the whole time, but it's turned several shades of awesome after entering the demon realm.

Looks like Beel's training against the Cicada is finally paying off!

Also not sure if anyone else reads Hitman Reborn, but the new chapter is making Byakuran looking like all sort of hacks <.<

Not sure if anyone here reads Mirai Nikki but it's almost at its conclusion and shit is getting crazy. Definitely not a manga to miss out on.

anyone find it annoying that Ippo has been getting his ass kicked for about 3 months now and still shows no signs of doing anything? I get that hes the underdog type character but c'mon...

Yeah, this series really hits the shitter when they cancelled miyata vs ippo.

At this point, I'd rather have the series focus more on Itagaki since he's a way more interesting boxer than an effort powered underdog who hasn't gotten much interesting since he acquired dempsey roll god knows how long ago.
