i thought it's ironic that for a manga emphasizing how manga should be in order to be great, it sure doesn't do any of it.

seems to me more about just how the manga business works

just as real life, hopes and dreams will eventually meet face to face with reality

The only thing that it really says you need to be a great manga is being interesting, and it does pretty well in that regard.

lol, dude, you gotta appreciate how it shows you what editors want in a popular manga (cheap jokes, fan service etc etc) and then see them in this manga itself

Personally.. while I enjoy seeing that about manga, I personally like a lot of the characters. That's usually what draws me to a series. One Piece's characters are interesting. Bleach and Naruto.. well not so much. Characters there are mostly boring and predictable. I'm glad I got into Bakuman, though. It's really held my interest. I'm almost completely caught up.

The bit where Mashiro got sick and Azuki went to see him was pretty awesome.

Misaka Worst. Sent by Aleister to eliminate Last Order. She is unnumbered. Speculation is a new batch of Sisters are created. This one resembles Mikoto during her depression state in the Sisters arc prequel.

I'll agree with others that Bakuman is interesting. I wonder just how much truth there is in the inner workings of manga as shown in the story.

But the reason for this post is: I'm trying to find a place to read the Saki manga, I can't find it anywhere online and all I can find torrents for are recent chapters, but I'm pretty sure I need to go back 10-20 chapters to be where the anime ended and even at that I'd like to just read the entire thing. I can't find anything for it though, anyone know where I might find it?

Probably as much truth as a movie about the movie business has... which is to say just enough to let the average Joe peek inside but probably gets a lot of "pfffft" by the pros.

I thought he'd be the typical 'I'm better than everyone and it's my job to make them hate me', but honestly.. he's just so damn entertaining.

By the way, Chapter 77 is out. Monumental moment in Mashiro and Azuki's relationship! Also.. the chapter as a whole was awesome.

Personally imo this chapter was bigger for takagi/kaya than mashiro. It's already been well established that mashiro/azuki love each other and will confide in the other about problems or doubts they're having.

Takagi on the other hand was never really into Kaya earlier in the series, and proposed almost as a way out of the iwase incident. To see him actually follow through and marry her is saying a lot about how his character has changed since the start.

I didn't really notice, but was Mashiro even sitting with Azuki at the wedding? Would be pretty typical for them not to be lol.

As usual, can't wait till next week.

I think Mashiro was sitting with the other writers and such based on his discussion with Hattori(sp). Azuki looked like she was sitting with Aoki, and away from the other guys. Yeah, that's just like them since they don't want to 'see each other before their goals become a reality' Also, they didn't really solidly confirm their 'confiding in each other' until the whole Iwase/Takagi/Aoki thing happened, if you remember.

As far as Takagi goes.. yeah, it is a pretty big change with how things have gone with his character. Went from 'who is she' to 'we're married now'.. I guess five years for a character can do that. I like both of em though.. and Kaya's too cute, Haha. A shame Mashiro had to go and have a huge outburst during their wedding party. Both Takagi and Mashiro seem pretty stressed out about the current manga, and from what I can tell.. if you're truly having fun with your manga, you don't have these kind of stressful situations. I hope they drop Tanto quick.
