They got serialized! Not a huge surprise, but the big surprise is...Hattori is finally their editor again! I wonder how much longer the series is going to go now, because I kinda see this as how things would be setup for the final stretch, just need an anime, Azuki and Saiko to get married and get it on and that's the story completed.

Good chapter. So they did get in, though technically at the start they didn't. And now they get Hattori as an editor? Only now he's feeling down and negative, lol.. these waves of emotions are so great and hilarious sometime. About damn time Miura's out though, but now he's handed Natural? Countdown til that drops off the map.

I'm thinking most of Hattori's complaints came from back when it first started. She probably grew on him, and now he feels different about it lol.

I liked it, would've been an odd romance manga based on the fact that the two main protagonists start off together. But it was a good one shot.

That scene from Index makes so much more sense knowing where Misaka/Kuroko are coming from. Think in the anime that's Kuroko's first appearance, so it was a total wtf? bit. I forget exactly how Touma gets involved here and only remember the end result so it'll be cool to see things from Misaka's POV.

This page cracks me up to no end. Poor Kuroko, if she only knew how crazy in love Misaka will be around Touma, in future. On sister Arc on Touma's Side, their some really funny moments between Kuroko and Touma, which sadly was cut from the Anime

I'm a few years late, but Bokurano has to be one of the most fucked up manga I came accross. It's a short 60 chapters manga (4-5hours) involving kids piloting giant robots to save the Earth (nothing new here), but the drama in it is top-notch. I don't think you could possibly create setting more dramatic than this one.

The characters werent so great , and some scenes early were just plain wrong, but the story is so deliciously depressing that it made the whole thing entertaining to read. It might be predictable as a whole, but there is still enough surprise on the way.


I enjoyed it a lot, but if you can't stand overly dramatic story or prefer more conventional anime storytelling, it's probably not for you. If you enjoy drama and horror, giant mecha fights, pseudo philosophical manga, it's worth a shot. Give it 7 chapters to have a good idea where the story is going (even if you can guess it before), but I personally didn't care much until 20 or so.

I watched the intro with Bokurano in mind, and laughed a bit lol. If it's anything close to it, that's some nice trolling.

I haven't watched the anime, only read the manga. The anime is only 13 episodes so I doubt it covers much. The official manga translations changed/remove some scenes I think, I'd get the RAWs also if that matters to you.

I heard a lot people didn't like the ending because he decides to stay a parts lover, but it's pretty obvious (Yukari even says it) that Hachibei loves Tenmaku more than parts and is gonna get with her. Also, it's a comedy/harem manga, so the ending is pretty fitting.

Anyways, good series.

I heard there was a company that picked up Narutaru because they didn't actually watch the whole show, just the first 3 episodes or so (and the cutesy OP and wicked ED). They had to drop the show quick once they realized its true nature.

And Bokurano is at least 20 episodes long (24-26), the anime does a fare job at telling the story, only the ending is different. But it's a good watch either way because it hardly pulls any punches.

I thought it was pretty well ended compared to some other harem mangas. But the only bad thing about the ending is that there will be no more parts love comedy
