Yeah, although as a twist they could let it do well. That would surprise me more than it doing bad or average.

I liked Perfect Crime Club more, but the new title isn't bad, and the hero names are pretty cool actually.

The Japanese manga RIAA has taken down a ton of manga on mangafox including naruto, FMA, bleach,Uzumaki etc etc.

Little too late for this, last time i checked 8 new website providing Raws have spawn after Raw-Paradise and Mangahelpers took their servers down or Raws down. I don't see this changing for Scanlations. this a losing battle take something down, and more will just replace it.

Anime comes in a few weeks, I read chapter 1, figured I'd probably enjoy it and just waiting for the anime.

Manga is incredible, but I have a habit of getting completely engrossed in whatever new series I read.

I remember I first started reading Hajime no Ippo last year, and spent about 4 hours a night rolling through the manga from start to finish in about 3 days. I was praying for at least 75 or so chapters of high school of the dead.

I can't believe there isn't a thread just for veritas, i enjoy it more than bleach and one piece. Am i alone thinking this or is this manhwa just not popular yet?

Better than Bleach? Yeah. Better than OP? Nah. There isn't enough of it to get its own thread, either. Just about every manga/anime with its own thread has 250+ chapters out.

True, I love OP don't get me wrong but it runs the line of cartoony which takes some my interest away. I can't even watch the anime of OP because of that. I know that sounds dumb when we are talking about manga but the artwork is a big thing for me. My friend had to force me to read passed the 1st few pages of OP because i didn't like the artwork. Of course i got hooked in just a few chapters and read it all in a few weeks.

Veritas I enjoyed more right off the bat because of the artwork (I would be a lier if i didn't say the females are wow... but thats not what i mean by good artwork lol.) The story is getting deeper every time it comes out, and the story lines are starting to come together. ATM the only reason i think OP could be better is because it has had more time to setup plots and story lines, etc which makes people feel for each char more, etc. This is just personal of course i love them both lol.

Edit: BTW the main reason i posted about it is i just read 75... and they dropped a bomb. Now i'm pissed i have to wait to find out how this turns out lol.

Yeah, I can see that. Veritas hasn't really had a good arc completion yet, an arc ends with a ??? and then a time skip happens and shit goes nuts again. Interesting sure, but OP has had numerous arcs that end neatly and keep going strongly, which is why I like it so much, it's a strong story. Thus far Veritas seems like it's mostly one big arc where OP has numerous arcs it has gone through.

OP's art fits its style and I don't have a problem with it, but I can see where others would prefer the more "realistic" (aside from every female having at least a D cup, granted OP is similar with that) artwork of Veritas.

LOL yea the D cup thing is funny, i think one side char had a C but anything less isn't in veritas lol. I will say you are right on the artwork topic. It does fit the style of OP once you get going with the story, but like i said my friend had to force me to read it with promises of "Greatest manga ever".

Veritas has a few arc's going now tho but two of them are on the back burner but with the chapter today i know its about to get real good. I feel like a tool in the sense i get excited as much as reading a new veritas as i do going on vacations.....

onemanage has all the chapters besides 75 which just came out. The release team asks all sites to wait 24 to 48 hours before posting it.

Has all the chapters for download if you want to download them all instead of reading them online. But they host them on those free sites that you have to wait a min to download, blah.

Edit: I really wish they would start an anime on this manwha....

What I meant about the arcs is that OP ends its arcs with everything tied up nicely and they go on their journey. An arc in Veritas ends with 1-3 fights possibly (but not always) coming to some completion and a bunch of questions about "What happens next!?" being raised and then a few months go by and some old guys are talking. They don't end an arc and move on to something else. Though I'm sure a lot of that is just with how Veritas is setup since most of the "villains" have to still be around.

Regarding all the Veritas talk. The artwork is definitely it's strength, but personally I feel the story is pretty weak. Half the time I find myself thinking why do I care about the plot, but than they show some really great fight scene or some chick with giant knockers and I remember why I read it (or a fight scene between chicks with giant knockers!).

I'm not really trying to bash it or anything but I think if I had to categorize it I'd say it's a guilty pleasure read for me. The art is top quality but the story isn't anywhere near most manga for me.
