    What a great chapter. Even if the chief did tell them about the anime, they wouldn't be able to get it going for at least 6 months to 2 years. He probably wants them to focus on their work. If he said "You have an offer for an anime." that's all they would think about and their work would deteriorate. At least with the drama CD its a good boost to their ego.

    Why wasn't that an excuse for +Natural and Crow when they were offered animes then? Is Ashirogi-muto really on such a different level than Iwase that an anime is out of the question? It's just shady and I don't agree with the EIC.

    Man, I really just don't give a shit about this manga anymore. They go into a random tangent for the last 5~8 chapters and now they kill off one of the few like-able characters in such an absurd fashion. Shit's terribad beyond Bleach levels, at least that has awesome art.

    Yeah it's probably something like that. lol, I just imagine the end of that chapter building to a climax and the last panel being some full page spread of EIC being like, "BECAUSE I THINK YOU CAN BE BETTER THAN CROW." and Mashiro and Takagi with this giant gape and a huge speech bubble with "!!!" inside. It sounds so lame but Bakuman will make it so fucking awesome. If that's indeed what happens.

    Leading up to a mini-arc that looks promising. Wonder if Eba is going to show up in the hometown and fuck this all up. Or it could have a happy ending with them returning to Tokyo as a couple/mutual feelings. Lets hope for that.

    I mean this was true since the beginning of the manga and all, but good god, the last few arc feels like he's just trying to make the manga as unfuckingenjoyable as possible
