I finally saw a bunch HSDK chapters come out over the weekend.

I thought it was pretty interesting that all the Ryozanpaku masters had to go into hiding as a result of the raid on the American base. Normally you don't see things like that have actual consequences so it was a nice change from the norm. The showdown with Yami is starting to get pretty intense with all the political angles along with straight up showdowns.

latest chapter. pretty cool. Loved the picture with Shuujin and Mashiro. That story there at the end that they have to judge.. that seems pretty awesome.

I'm probably way off base, but because the battle manga seems really similar to the kind Takagi and Mashiro were going to write, maybe it's a lost one-shot that Mashiro's uncle wrote and Hattori found and submitted? or maybe Takagi has a manga writing uncle or something -- if Mashiro got his artistic talent from his uncle, it's reasonable to assume Takagi got his narrative talent from a family member.

Just found Deadman Wonderland (because of the above post) and I don't know if it's a good or bad thing I've just now discovered it. On one hand It's pretty good and I just burned through all 40 chapters in a day and a half. On the other hand, I just burned through all 40 chapters in a day and a half and now I have to wait every single month for a new release.
It's illustrated the writer/illustrated by the same person who did Eureka Seven, but not written by him.
Anime for it has been green-lit for spring 2011, but idk if that means it'll be airing in the spring season, or will start being made in the spring.
