Random note, especially to old school anime fans, since i've like, never seen anyone mention it:

Gunnm (aka Battle Angel Alita in english >_>) is still ongoing. I've actually been following it for like.. I wanna say at least 15-16 years (side note: The Guyver is still running too ^-^)? Gunnm ended, there was a game, then he decided he didn't like the ending so much, and made Gunnm: Last Order (it runs in Ultra Jump), and that's been going on forever.

For those who've never seen any of Yukito Kishiro's jaw dropping awesome Gunnm art...

I wasnt able to enjoy Last order as much as I enjoyed the first series. I'm not exactly sure why, but I didnt really care about the new space setting...it was just too much.

It still is one of my favorite mangas, but I kinda stopped reading it 2 years ago because of the irregular release.

Pssht, people like us from Quebec shouldn't forget it! Even if there weren't scanlations, it does come out in french here... Then again I don't own any of the french mangas for it >_> The JP ones for Gunnm are much nicer, large type ones :D

That's how I read the first series back then (11-12 years ago). It was the only manga I came accross beside Dragon Ball, and probably one of the few reasons why I got into anime.

If I had more money, I would probably consider buying it, but yeah...

And James Cameron need to start working on the movie he promised us. Unlike most anime, I think this series would make a very good movie.
