I read HSDK when I'm in the mood for tits with my martial arts. I can't honestly recall what the story is about besides "insert organization here" is bad and must be defeated.

HSDK has some sort of story, and it's fun to keep up with, but you really don't need any depth, the fights are awesome, and the tits are better.

HSDK is in a weird place where secondary characters who have gone unused for a while (read: shinpaku) are making a resurgence, so it feels like older arcs where you had to watch them fight opponents one on one (diego arc comes to mind). It's not horrible but I'm worried it'll feel like a retread of older material without some big and interesting twists. The current story has a lot to live up to after the emotional impact of the preceding arc.

I think it will be extremely tough to hit the same nerves that they did with Apachi. But I think it'll be capable of pulling something off.

Just search jojo in search bar for more. It's missing a separate timeline one called stone ocean or something but just the original will keep you reading for a while.

I dunno if he's better at it perse, Ashirogi Muto is doing things their own way for sure, but theirs is a journey and they know they can't rush it. Where as this guy seems to be going at light speed with the wrong mindset.

I'm curious to see how Eiji reacts to him, and how the whole dynamic will change.

I sort of agree. While the new doode is incredibly manipulative and thought out, Eiji is incredibly instinctive. So more like opposites
