I thought it would be Nanamine from the outline it showed before, but it is nice getting some confirmation. This is quite interesting, he definitely seems like a real villain for the story now. Early on, I was thinking it would be Eiji, but he is too awesome to be considered evil.

Eiji has always been the awesome super rival. Nanamine is much more like a classic villain. This is a classic build up you see in movies, TV, comics etc, though it doesn't make it less awesome.

So, I just got around to checking on updates to Tenjou Tenge, and found out it ended nearly a year ago =\
But, I also found out that the US rights have switched from CMX to Viz, and they are re-publishing the whole series, unedited!
And they're putting 2 tankoban to a book, on an aggressive schedule, and the second of eleven is out this month.

I might need to see if I can juggle budget around for this surprise, the only reason I never bought it was fuck CMX censorship.

Meh, Tenjou Tenge was fun and the art is gorgeous but the story devolves into a convoluted mess of tits, demons and immortality.

Hell, I'm still on Negima book 30 because I stick to the US releases instead of reading the scans.

Late here, but yeah. Eiji always feels like "Gary" to Ashirogi's "Ash".. at least IMO, and Nanamine seems like a total douchebag who needs to be tossed off a cliff. :<

Should bakuman just be its own thread by now? Nobody ever seems to say anything about it without 100% of the text being in spoilers. And people quote each others spoilers with more spoilers. No joke, most of the last page is just that, with only one post actually labelling what manga they're talking about.

Months into the existence of the Anime subforum and we're still dumping anything that isn't naruto/one piece/bleach into 'random' threads. It feels weird when 30% of the posts in this thread need to be clicked on to be read. Yeah, the WSJ individual threads are laced with the same but at least there's no mystery about the subject.
