just finished reading Psyren (Shonen Jump Viz is going digital and isn't open to the EU) read about 100 chapters in 2 days (had work so could have done it in one really) i though it was really well done but the ending could have done with one last chapter

(he was the artist Ryūhei Tamura author of Beelzebub, studied under)

If I remember there was talk of the series being cancelled so the ending was rushed to completion. But it definitely was a great story.

And even if Viz hits EU, they will treat it like NA and have you wait the 3 weeks for a digital copy that you can't download and expires in 1 year of the purchase date. If I buy a volume, I want it to sit on my shelf and collect dust!

I've been reading a manga, Ubel Blatt. It's fairly dark and has minimal gore to it. I'm looking to buy a few of the volumes though. It's from Square Enix but they don't have it listed on their NA based website. Anyone have any other site or stores they use to buy volumes?

ubel blatt is pretty fanservicey though, and it either stopped or went on an extended hiatus

since you picked up Squares manga, have you ever read Soul eater Not!? i find it funny but soul eater is pretty comical when there not blowing peeps up

I wouldn't agree on the fan service. It is there but the 95% of the rest of the manga outweigh it. However, I will say I'm only on volume 7 or 8 by reading it online.

I've kept up with Soul Eater Not. If it's scanned, I'll read it but it isn't something I particularly look for. I also find it funny that they still haven't put all of FMA into English volumes yet. tsk tsk

i live in England and i've been able to buy volume 26 for at least a year now

i have volume 26 in Japanese also

Haha. Somewhat jealous now, thank you. I only brought it up since the series ended at least 2 years ago by now and it's not even close to the end. Where do you get your books from if you don't mind.

Yeah, I'm absolutely loving it, Ippo needs to take a few lessons from the rookie on how to write a compelling story.

I got the biggest boner reading the last few chapters, holy shit I just want to see him climb up and fight that guy now. Meanwhile current Ippo 'twist' for Itagaki is stupid.

It just keeps building up... fuck the title fight is fkn awesome so far. I don't see w/e his face winning but man. The main characters opening fight was absolutely ridiculous. You can actually see how his character has completely transformed into someone else.

Yeah it's pretty impressive to look back on what Rikitaro was like at the start of the series to where he is now. All of the fights have been interesting so far, not just Riki's.

Asahina reminds me of Brian Hawk, he's just such a smug asshole that you can't help but hope he's going to get his face beat in. Of course it's pretty obvious at this point that he's going to beat the Champ and that Riki will have to rise up and defeat him, but I really don't care if it's so transparent. The story is so well written that just seeing how Riki will get to that point and all the changes he will go through will be quite a ride.

The next match should be interesting. I feel sorry for Asura or w/e the kids name is though. He's actually stopped coming to the matches is kind of telling in how much Rikitaro has changed. And the fact we haven't seen his goofy side in at least 10 chapters or so. I'm hoping some even turns him back to his original self.
