going through some old emails i found my pol codes and was able to recover my account after it was hacked some 2 years ago.

he moved house and found the codes etc in some old boxes while packing

Believe the guy playing now. If he wasn't the real owner and your friend was he wouldn't have been able to steal the account because your friend would prove he is real owner and get it back.

Whether the real owner got hacked or sold it is the real question but honestly it doesn't matter much.

Having an account "stolen" back is a risk every RMT character noob has to take. Maybe your friend would consider leveling his own character.

yea of course he didnt buy it he stole it from me or got it from a friend who stole it from me. either way he shouldve known the account was stolen or at least asked his friend where he got it from...

Fact is, you're still not making any sense. A stolen account is a stolen account. And the original owner has every right to take it back, regardless of who's playing it.

Proof is in the pudding. If it was legitimately his he would be able to get it back from SE. Since he can't and the dude with the character is running around without a worry, its pretty obvious the account didn't belong to your friend.

reading all this is kinda confusing when you throw in the OP's bad english and also the lack of ability to understand sarcasm. (yes, i know its difficult when you don't have english as a first language) this is very simple to understand for me so i'll tell you what i've taken from the thread.

Guy gets hacked, lost his POL stuff, can't recover his account.
Hacker (most likely rmt) loots the account, then sells the character on ebay.
Another guy buys the account and enjoys playing it for two years.
Original guy finds his POL stuff, recovers his account.
