Do these exist? I thought i saw them in a data mine, but i wasn't sure if they were released or not? Or am i just going crazy? I want me some HQ-less soul flayer staff action.

Yeah, they do 80,000 GP each. They also give and additional 1% chance of success of the synth.
Edit: Forgot to say they require Craftsmen level to obtain.
