Replaying old interview in my head where I thought I heard "PS2 limitations" come out of their mouth when asked about inventory space. . .

no, they could add as much inventory as they want, its just limited to two 80 item sections at a time, and server space.

wasnt it already explained by square enix back when mog locker was added? they basically said something like it would be extremely hard to increase the inventory to a higher number but making different accessible sets of inventory was less taxing on the server because of the way it loads the items in your inventory?

They've basically said this. They even mentioned something like a "Job Bag" in a recent interview.

Not to try to be a buzzkill or anything, but this is at least a bit unfair to PS2 and 360 people who don't have the same kind of "security concerns". It could look like they're rewarding people who are loose on acct info or don't protect their PCs with +80 inventory for a minor cash bribe.

...Not to say this isn't a good item and I wouldn't have purchased anyway, but I think there are plenty of people being taken advantage of for $10 just for more inventory this way. Oddly, it'd be JPs that would object this more (as a higher % of PS2 players), so I'd be curious to know what some of their reactions are.

Blackmailed into $10 for +80 inv? Perhaps. A cheap, cruel marketing move... the best kinds, as they're always massive profit. Perhaps their is their apologizing in advance for the $10 expansions likely being nothing but a 1-night adventure by trying to say they did something nice for us.

Job bags would pretty much be one of the coolest things they could add would love to see it be like how temp items are done in besieged.

They didn't really lie. Most likely this is how the mog satchel will work. In the main menu there is an option called view house and you can pick your safe, storage or locker. So they will just add satchel to the view house list but actually let you take items out of the satchel anywhere not just in your mog house. Its still 160 items in memory at one time.

To the people crying about how this shouldn't come with the +inventory(for whatever reason): They wanted to make sure everyone got one. Every time someone gets hacked they have to waste time and money getting that account back. The token would have been out already if they hadn't been sitting around trying to find a way to make sure everyone buys one.
