No, I'm really not, but I've been attacked before for "smart posting" so

That about sums it up for me. I saw, I raged, I calmed down. Still, I am not too fond of something as important to the game as adequate inventory space being handled in this manner, but I was getting the token anyway, as were most of the people arguing in favor of an end to the BAAAAWWWWWWing. It doesn't affect me as much as console players who have significantly less risk of being hacked, or the people who just want the token for the Satchel and will cancel its use once they have their in-game shiny, and if you fall into either of these categories, my condolences.
Oh wait why are we giving reasons to people about getting the item again? SE probably won't order enough....
Cry the fuck more you worthless shit. Don't like it? Don't fucking buy it. Stop bitching like a fucking child. I wish I could hate you to death.
At least someone is getting the 'stop bitching' sentiments we are sending.
Take a lesson from him. Don't like it? Don't buy it. Otherwise stop fucking bitching. Jesus Christ, you people are the reason Advanced is turning into a joke.
The entire time he wasn't even talking about his own opinion, but rather attempting to explain the position of others. One clue is how he never talked about himself but kept referring to "people." I think the only thing he even said that was his own opinion was the very last line. You're a fucking idiot.
The inventory space have "no cost" for SE.
Well, it does have a cost because there are people working on it, but we already pay a monthly fee for people to work and maintain the game, so the inventory slots should fall into this category.
I don't care about the security token. I would rather pay 2€ for the inventory slot, instead of buying the token to get more inventory slots.
Would have been smarter if they raised the price of the new expansion/scenario by 2€ and added the inventory slots in it, instead of forcing me to buy some shitty token that isn't even profitable.
Who benefits from this ? I don't, and according to you SE doesn't either. Conclusion: that's bullshit.
APRIL FOOLS SE JUST FUCKED YALL!
Edit: Seriously...I can see it happening.
If you don't give a damn about the token, that's fine. However, you might want to step down from arguing about Square-Enix taking people for a ride. It's already been explained within this thread why they're not. If you're unhappy that you can't get the spaces without paying for them, that's all right too, but they're not ripping anyone off. It's doubtful they'll make a profit off these tokens anytime soon, if ever.
It isn't bullshit just because you don't like it.
Here is the cost for the set up from another company:
Authenex ASAS - Authenex Strong Authentication System - AuthWorks.com
1000 users = $36,290.00
Need to know the number of Playonline accounts then we can have a good guess at how many people will get it and then figure out the costish.
SE probably has a deal so our guess won't be that close but the amount will probably still be up there.
PS. Again it doesn't seem like SE is making money off this, it seem more of an investment to not have to deal with "hacked" or stolen accounts.
PSS. Unless they got an unlimited users system set up for like 100k, they are losing a lot of money from this investment (after the cost of shipping, tax, and device).
Why is this causing so much fuss?
For everyone that was like "SE BSed us about PS2 limitations they can add as much inventory as they want and make us pay for it." I am pretty sure that SE will do the satchel like this. They will add it under the view house menu. I photoshoped this pic to what SE will probably do. Its still only 160 items in memory like they always claimed. Its not like we get access to 160 items at anytime.
Spoiler: show
It might be helping them make money elsewhere, this may be why they had to package it with the inventory thing so that they could get more people to buy it so they could afford their security offer to the playerbase. I don't know how much SE has to pay their GMs to do account retreival and things of this sort. If this security thing goes off in a good way with everyone buying the thing like I'm pretty sure everything will, they will probably adjust the TOS again about account security so they can cut back money on their GMs and make more profit. /shrug lol
