I got some nice players like Texeira, Beltran, Ordonez, Berkman, but I had to pick up most of my pitching staff (excluding Lee and Lackey, who was the only one i managed to pick before I left) off the waiver wire. My catchers are weaksauce and I am absolutely horrid at ss.
That being said, who is expendable? This guy is trying to trade me Dice-K for Magglio Ordonez, and while I badly need pitching, Maggs is expected to bring in a lot more points. Is it better to have a slightly weaker pitching staff and a much stronger hitting crew or to average them out? How important are relief pitchers, they dont seem to get many points in my league, though I guess if they pitch everyday they could be nice.
Help! We start tomorrow.
